It does. Derrick rose, WB, Love, James harden, john wall, cousins, irving, davis, beal, lillard, embid, russel, porzingas, russell, towns, ingram, brown, tatum, donic, trae young, zion, ja morant, edwards, ball, lebron, wade Melo. U have a higher chance at finding better talent at the lottery. 1-14.
In a heartbeat, the top 10 in this draft is stacked, Sengun will always have a limitations on the defensive end.
I want to see Duren next to Holmgren and can’t wait to get his official measurements. He definitely doesn’t look 6’11 to me. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s actually 6’9 at which point I need to see his wingspan and standing reach. His height won’t matter that much if his arms are long and he’s an explosive leaper.
Supposedly Duren's wingspan is 7'5" which is the same as Dwight Howard and an inch shorter than DeAndre Jordan's.
Chet getting played off the floor already in 5 minutes against this scrub team? Confused by the substitution. Edit: Back in at 12:30 to go staggered with Timme subbing out.
I was like this is a high scoring first qtr then realized it was the first half, Gonzaga v Georgia st. 9 rebounds/ 5 points for Chet so far
Changed my vote from Chet to Ivey. Too many question marks on the big men in this draft and Ivey forces the Rockets to get rid of KPJ.
I'm changing my vote tentatively to Jabari Smith. He's not the best college big, but he can defend relentlessly on the perimeter and shoot the 3 ball. He can space the floor for Green and KPJ. He is athletic and he's got a good frame to build on. I want to see Bruno Fernando as a reserve center next season. He's big, long, quick and he can rebound/block shots. Jabari Smith is not much of a rebounder or shot blocker. Chet's tough and very skilled but he’s less than 200 lbs on a very narrow frame. I like Paolo's passing and all round offense, but his defense isn't very good.
My vote is Jabari Smith. One thing I want to clear up... When I say I would take Jabari #1, I hear a lot things like "Don't draft for fit!" or "Yeah he fits better but the other guys are (potential) superstars." That last part may be true, but I wouldn't take Jabari just because he fits beautifully. He would fit well on any team. It's because I see superstar potential in him also. I believe he's the best prospect. I may be wrong, but a vote for Jabari isn't just a vote for "fit." From everything I've seen and read, he's got the size, skills and drive to succeed at the highest level. His shooting and defense will translate at a minimum and I think he will improve in other areas to be a go-to scorer. I can respect other picks, I just don't think the Jabari pick should be dismissed as a pick for fit.
The part I’m confused about... why would our odds be higher for number 5 if that’s the worst the Rockets could get.. wouldn’t it be much lower assuming that some team sneaks in to the top 5 that shouldn’t be there? My brain isn’t working. Shouldn’t it be less than 20% considering we have more ping pong balls then other teams within the top 5? someone help me here
