Lol all these guys have top 5 upside thats why there is a debate on who is going no 1. AJ Griffin for example is a hyper sthletic wing hitting 3s at 48% what makes you say he doesnt have top 5 upside? Ivey looks like a clone of Ja Morant there's no glass ceiling for what he can become. Chet is on an absolute tear but its not like there isnt flaws or some flags you see on him as a prospect, mainly that he gets dropped way too often in the college level. Thats not good sign for his long term career.
These guys became the frontrunners because they have things you mentioned so far. Those teen picks beocming mvp candidates are the minority, look up any article on this they will tell you majority of all stars were lotto picks. Is there any non lotto pick outperforming the lotto picks from 2020 draft? What about 2019? 2018? 2021? Lol If you wanna bet be my guest 100 bucks the best player in the 2022 class is gonna be in the top 10. Dont p***y out like the poster who bet me 100 usd Simmons gonna be an allstar this year and didnt pay up.
Spoiler Chet vs NON-little sisters of the poor: vs Texas: 23 minutes, 2 points, 5 rebounds vs UCLA: 28 minutes, 15 points, 6 rebounds vs Duke: 29 minutes, 16 points, 7 rebounds vs Alabama: 22 minutes, 10 points, 11 rebounds vs Texas Tech: 24 minutes, 5 points, 11 rebounds vs BYU: 27 minutes, 12 points, 7 rebounds vs BYU: 28 minutes, 20 points, 17 rebounds vs Saint Mary’s: 35 minutes, 11 points, 13 rebounds vs Saint Mary’s: 32 minutes, 6 points, 6 rebounds
Jabari looks like KD that jumper at his height is Absurd . bet he is a good “4” on defense . to me , looks like a great pair with sengun
Not many bad games there. Specially when you factor in blocks and what he was asked to do. Last night was bad from foul trouble.
Drew Timme looked drunk last night, missing layup after layup and not rotating on defense while clogging the paint, he ended with a 50 offensive rating. Chet affects games without scoring. He’s unreal. Haters will just post basic stats because they don’t actually watch the games. Evan Mobley had a bunch of low scoring games, I bet the same people whining about Chet’s stats are the same ones whining that we drafted Jalen. Complaining to complain
I've never been sold on KPJ and would keep Green in a heartbeat if it came down to it. I wouldn't want to waste a pick on Ivey though if we could get Jabari or Chet.
No need to trade KPJ, just match any reasonable offer he gets in restricted free agency … he’d be 6th man if we draft Ivey. Pick up Kessler to start along Sengun with the Brooklyn pick
Smith likely becomes this years ‘consensus’ top pick unless Holmgren or Ivey just absolutely annihilate teams in the tourney. At two could be another massive debate between Holmgren and Ivey. Holmgren will likely have questions regarding durability over an 82 game season until he gets some sand in his pants. The Dukies likely go 4 and 5. All this could change but fun to debate!
I think he might be targeted by those College defenders. And he isn't quick enough. Has decent percentage with his left hand, should use it more.
I'd trade Wood + EGo/future FRP for Jabari or Chet. If Rockets come away from this draft with Chet, Jabari and Tari Eason then I would give Stone another chance to redeem himself. Schroder/Jaygup/Nix Scoot/Green/Tate Jabari/Mathews/KJ Chet/Tari Sengun/Garuba
Wood and Gordon have no value to a rebuilding team high in the lotto. They would be fools to take that trade. That GM should be fired.
