Not really. He'll be the "Robin" to Watt's "Batman". He'll have it a lot easier than any QB would and a much higher chance of success for just that reason.

Until he gets tired of Watt's foot up his a** because he doesn't feel like going balls to the walls each play.

I don't want a guy like that. I want a player is going to play 110% each and every play.

Id rather have trent murphy from stanford or that boy from Minnesota

Only by some of the TB fan club members like yourself who think the Texans should reach for a low draft grade quarterback who played in a weak conference with the #1 overall pick.

The people who want Johnny will get over it just like the Vince fans did.

I love that you always resort to writing fan fiction like
every time you run up against an argument that defeats you.

But you want the player who played in a strong conference and only had 3 sacks and has a number of character red flags??

    Clowney excuses starting in 3....2.....1..........

No, I am just telling you how it would be.

the fact that you have no retort exemplifies that fear

Have you paid attention to the numbers that the "vaunted" SEC defenses have given up????

No, you are just repeating the same tired BS. It's okay though, I understand that Bridgewater fanatics are going to be ridiculous because they are basically the football version of Lin fans.

If BOB thinks Manziel is the guy, I am all for it.

If he thinks we should get Clowney, I am all for it

Don't be surprised if he gets Bridgewater though

I would rather trade down personally but Clowney is the better of two evils.

The problem is he hasn't consistently shown he has Antonio Smith's motor. I get that charging after guys in traffic is how you get injured and he was worried about his paycheck (at least I hope that's what it was). Still he is a guy after a paycheck first. Nothing wrong with that but is that who you want to invest in going forward. You're assuming he wasn't as good as will be because he was protecting his paycheck and now we are supposed to invest the 1st overall pick on him and hope he forgets who he was and starts playing with a little more heart and a little more motor?

If Clowney is THAT good.... wouldn't a half a$$ effort against inferior competition net more than 3 sacks?

Well one of my lil cousins was a 300 lb running back for A&M and my other lil cousin played tight end for Texas. I'm equal when it comes to Texas schools...
