If you are not sure they are even superstars, do you think that instead, they are just average players now? I certainly feel that average players is what they are now, especially after their game last night with the Heat. If they really were superstars, I really feel the Rockets would be blowing teams out quite frequently, and yes, they would be going deeper into the playoffs than they have been. I think that the Rockets are really a less than average team right now. There is the distinct possibility that JVG had the team overachieve last season considering the hand he was dealt with, and with Yao missing two months with his broken leg.
We are free falling now and may continue if the same rotation of players continue and the players still play slack. It is sad that after years of discipinarian approach of JVG, they cannot play with discipline when the coach is less strict. They are supposed to be professionals. There are not many disciplinarian coach around... Riley, Sloan .. and they are not available except .. JVG again?
