I don't get it, why would you hide your ass if you have already purchased league pass? Are games still blacked out if you live in the US (Houston)?
Like most here on clutchfans without Comcast.....I'm always streaming on firstrowsports......the only downside is the better streams are usually from the visiting sides.....but at least you get to hear what they have to say about the rockets
Your home market team is blacked out on League Pass. Rockets blacked out in Houston and parts of Southeast and East Texas.
Guys. Torrents. Every single game available in HD, plus you can rewind and review key plays in slow mo, which you can't do when streaming (as far as I know.) The downside is you have to wait till several hours after the game is over or maybe the next morning before it's being seeded, and you'll have to avoid all news sources and friends who saw the game until you watch it so they don't spoil the ending.
I just moved up to ft worth at the beginning of the summer. Ill probably get NBALP....at least I'll finally get to watch my rox in hd...f u comcast!
I have comcast, so that's pretty cool for me. But, I work evenings so I will likely miss out on most of the games this year, so that sucks for me.
I hate to say it but comcast is getting better we got the new box that came out plus the 3x times faster internet, on top of that the home security and our 2nd $250 gift card coming at us for remaining with them at this point of time I cannot complain
Don't think I could live with myself if I ever went back to Comcast. At least for television service. I've been thinking of putting together a home theater PC before the season to do exactly this.
Thinking about flashing my router so I can run league pass on roku. Anyone have experience with this?
move I don't know anything about SlingBox but theoretically couldn't someone with one provide a signal for other people? And by the way, capitalism isn't just for the corporations. I think any quasi-legal maneuver you can get away with is morally fine, just the way the corporations their lawyers and lobbyist do it. Taking responsibility and gaining advantage for yourself is capitalism. If that's the system, then make it work for you.
I'm confused. What's the purpose of the VPN? Won't league pass allow you to watch all NBA games? I don't understand where the VPN comes into play.
League Pass is blacked out if you're in the local market. So if you're in Houston you're unable to view the Rockets games on League Pass.
I've decided if the deal doesn't get done by October I am going with Comcast. Rockets games are the number one priority around here and if I have to change my e mail so be it. Not another year of dragging the laptop into the living room to watch draggy feeds. Not worth it. Rockets ? Worth it !
I get so disgusted with all of this. I'm 100% willing to pay 2x the league pass cost to get reliable access to all games, but there is just no way to purchase it in Austin. I probably missed the first 8 games last year + San Antonio home games + a random group that I didn't even understand why they were blacked out. I feel horrible for Houstonians.
Does the NBA even realize that the only way to gain access to their games is through illegal streaming? Even those that desperately want better quality, can't buy it.
