    Lol, I've never seen a bidding war for a summer league player...there's a reason why they are on the summer league.

    I believe anyone that is NOT under contract is fair game. Last year, the Suns were chasing John Lucas III after his great summer performance but he chose to sign with us.

    Right, no team can sign players like Brooks, Lior, or VSpan (if he played), but if a player with open rights can be saught. I believe that most players in the summer league will gravitate toward their summer team even if asked elsewhere due to security.

    By the way, if people could post game links today like they did Yesterday, just in case, that would be greatly appreciated.

    For everybody that is blacked out, here is how to get the working address:

    1) Right click on "Watch" link and copy shortcut.
    2) Paste into your address bar and delete everything before "http://boss.." and after "xxx.asx".

    For example, here is the copied shortcut:
    j a v a script:nbaVideo(escape(' http://broadband.nba.com/cc/playa.php?content=video&url=http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia-live/nba/11562/500_nba-liveevent_060611.asx&gid=s5&gid=1520700005'),escape('blank'));

    After you are done cutting:
    http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia-live/nba/11562/500_nba-liveevent_060611.asx

    I'm still agonizing over the fact that Morey didn't trade up a few spots to get Belinelli. I know he was never a player our management really wanted, but how could you not?? It's only the first summer league game, but this stat line still shows promise for the Warriors... 40 min, 14-20 FG, 5-7 3PT, 5 reb, 37 pts. Man, at #24 he was so close...

    Um, Belinelli went 18. Rudy Fernandez was the guy who went 24.

    Oops, I don't know why I said 24. I was hoping he'd drop a little further than 18, but regardless, he seemed like a great pick to go after. If we wanted him enough, we could've traded w/ the Wizards or even the Sixers, but all this is purely wishful thinking. I know we would've drafted 6 other players before Belinelli even if we were up there, but this is the guy I was highest on among non-lottery picks. Apparently, we were looking to draft the best player possible, and he would've been somewhat realistic if we offered some trade bait. Surely, some of those teams in the late teens had to believe they could get the player they drafted at those positions at 26. Maybe wishful thinking again, but damn...I just wanted some Boki: Version 2.0.
