It's pretty much impossible to trade for Rose, when you take out Yao and T-mac, we'd have trade half our roster to even match salaries, and NY isn't going to want guys like Juwan and Rafer (not to mention that we're not going to want to dump those guys for Rose).

Although if Jalen still has something in the tank after this season, I could see us going after him in Free Agency. He'd be a good guy to have off the bench.

The man is averaging under 6 points a game which puts him below 6th status on any team... why would you give him 30 mil..?

actually, i agree with you. jalen would be a very good fit here. he can play the 1, 2 or 3. he only has a year or so left in him, but is still quite capable at 15 minutes or so per night. he also is, as he always has been, a more than capable scoring threat.

i don't know his salary, but i'm sure the knicks would like another overpaid tweener in return for jalen.

I'll pass on anymore guys from the Michigan Fab Five. Just having one of them is enough.

Really? I would take Channing Frye, David Lee, and maybe Jamal Crawford off their hands in a second. Jackie BUtler is also serviceable as a lowpriced back up too.

I think Butler signed with the San Antonio Spurs.

Darn, you mean he was out there and we didn't take a chance on him? I'd prefer him to Slowtumbo at this point as a backup C.

Yeah, spurs offered him a 3 year $7 million deal. Apparently, Isiah was shocked that he received such a 'large' offer, and decided not to match. Hollinger wrote a scathing article about it.

The ONLY way I would take on QRich if I'm the Rockets is if Frye is included. Something like Howard + Head + all or part of TE for QRich & Frye. And, I still might have to make them include a pick of some kind simply because we take on mor eyears of salary with a guy with a bad back.

About 25 games into the season, Knicks fans will once again wonder why Zeke wasted their MLE on a non-talented player. Jared Jeffries is another version of Stro: A player who supposedly has "potential" but never comes close to reaching it. About the only thing he brings every night is hustle. I guess that's all you need to get a MLE from Zeke.

You don't need hustle to get the MLE from Zeke. See Jerome James.

I can avg 3pts and 2rebs a game. Maybe get a steal and draw a charge. Can that get me a Nene deal from Zeke?
If that's the case Jeffries should seek a max contract from Zeke.
