Here are the following 13 players which are signed:

    1 Francis, Norris, Drew
    2 Anderson, Mobley, Drew
    3 Williams, Anderson, Rogers, Langhi
    4 Thomas, Rogers, Collier
    5 Cato, Dream, Collier

    IR - Bullard

Pig Miller, TMass, and Washington are not signed. TMass is the best player of the bunch. The only open roster spot is IR (the position TMass played last year [IMG]). I don't know if we would be doing him any favors by placing him on IR versus letting him find a team that will give him consistent minutes.

Pig Miller may make some sense. The Rockets appear to be the only NBA team interested in him.

And Washington may be better served by playing everyday in Europe again next year.

I'm also of the opinion that the Rockets should sign TWash only if they plan on giving him decent minutes so that he can develop. Otherwise, it might be best for him to go back to Europe and continue to work on his game a bit.

I'm guessing that Pig was effective enough last year on the boards, and he will be rewarded for his hussle.

I just watched a tape of the Utah Revue game
and based on that, I would keep Dench over Washington. Dench looked comfortable around the perimeter which is where the Rockets appear to be keeping their big men these days, although he did jack up a couple of ugly shots. I could see him straining something and staying on injured reserve this season. I believe Pig and Massenburg are
gone. After watching Kenny Thomas and Jason Collier in that game, I think we need to go shopping for an NBA quality 4 wherever we can get one. We may have a bunch of guys on the roster who play the 4, we don't have a starter in the bunch. We have a bunch of guys who can play in certain situations, but
Thomas is too short, Collier's a center, I don't care what they said on draft day, Rogers is too skinny, and Bullard pulls the
oposing 4 out to the 3 point line, but that's all he is good for, Pig and Massenburg arent legitmate NBA starters. We
are in trouble at the 4.
