right here. pls explain why you're owed an apology? Methinks you reported some trade involving the rockets in some super secret suite. what does that have to do with this.

Assuming you're correct about the clippers being able to offer a max deal it is a great move indeed.

    2010-2011 Outlook

    Bdiddy
    Gordon
    Outlaw
    Griffin
    Kaman

That right there is a solid starting 5 by itself. Add to that another high lottery pick and assume Clippers sign a MAX PLAYER (strong possibility, it is LA afterall) Damn!! if only they weren't the Clippers they'd be going places.

Whoah, whoah, whoah, let me get this straight...the Clippers were asking the Rockets for Ariza AND Lowry, and they just traded both Thronton and Telfair and only got...Drew Gooden in return?

    Jesus Christ.

And what an idiot on ESPN...a picture of Amare and he says, "The Cavs just traded for Jamison, will Amare be next?" Really?!

well according to the salary listing on hoopshype, the clippers would save apprx 5.5 million in cap space next year from the combine salaries of Telfair and Thorton ( telfair is listed as having a player option of 2.7million and Thorton is listed as having a salary of 2.8 million) Combined with the expiring contracts of Outlaw, SBlake, RButler, MMadsen, RickyDavis etc, the Clippers will have only apprx 33.5 million committed to Davis, Kaman, Gordon, Griffin and dendre Jordan.

Assuming the cap next year is 54 million the Clippers will have approximately 21 million in cap space. With the 5 players under contract being (assuming no qualifying offer is made to Mardy Collins)
    Bdavis
    Gordon
    Griffin
    Dendre Jordan
    Kaman

you're hilarious, I post what I heard from a very reliable source, it comes very close to happening, then Cuban comes in like a vulture with a better deal.

I originally said Z goes to Hou, Jamison to Cavs, Butler to Hou, and Mcgrady to Wash, and added there might be other minor things added(such as picks, cash, etc.) Since Cuban gave the wiz a better deal, the Cavs did a three way with clips wiz instead, the information was always legitimate, so keep going on there keyboard warrior.

I'm right you're wrong, get with it.
well I've been here longer than you, probably lurked longer than you, and don't care what anyone says.

From another article I posted in another thread, it looks like they put up the ultimatum and the Suns didn't bite.

Overall I'm happy about it. Amare is the better talent in the long run, but I would have a hard time rooting for him considering his history as a flaky teammate. Quite the opposite from Jamison. And we got him for a draft pick.

I really hope Z gets bought out and resigns w/ the Cavs. He deserves to be part of a Cavs championship if it happens.

An insider reports that the Cavs are still actively looking for another move. No idea what though.

Your information may (or may not) have been legit, but the fact that some other team did a similar trade doesn't exactly prove that your deal ever "came very close to happening". If it happened, that would have proven you right, but it didn't. Frankly, everyone knew that Cleveland was going to trade Z for some front court help and that Washington was looking to move Butler, and likely Jamison too. Those weren't exactly insights.

everyone was criticizing the trade "Why would they give up Jamison for just Z?" etc, I specifically said in my post, that unless the Wizards had another deal fly in, that was going to happen, and that's exactly what happened.

Cuban gave them a better offer so the Rockets were left out.

And I never called the location "Super secret", it was just an exclusive luxury(or party, whatever they call it) suite, and a person close to Morey was present, he told me the information because he said it'd be on the news within a day anyway, the next day after I posted several media outlets had posted about that 3 way.

and I'm not nor have I ever claimed to an insider, I was just at the right place at the right time. I have no idea what's gonna happen in the future now.

Come on man, you have got to be kidding me...

Everyone and their mother knew that Z was the most likely big piece to be moved, from the Cavs team. Varejao and Mo williams' contract is too long, Shaq's contract is an albatross (like T mac's deal)...

You know what, I'm going to channel your super secret insider powers and make a super-duper otherworldly prediction that Z will be bought out and re-sign with Cavs

    Jose, you've just been Jose'd...

except that I specifically said he'd be going for Jamison, not that he would be moved.

Are you Serious? Really? I really thought you were joking about the apology and the taking credit, but if it you arent being facetious, then that is truly hilarious. I mean you do realize that everyone I mean EVERYONE knew the Cavs were going to either trade Big Z for Jamison or as part of a deal for Amare... it doesnt exactly take nostradamus to correctly predict one of the outcomes.
