The Wizards also get the rights to former Cavs pick, Emil Preldzic, a source said.

Give the Cavs credit for the best deadline deal so far.
I think Jamison is a better fit there than Amare, and they don't have to worry about him leaving this summer.
LeBron just got a little more likely to stay in Cleveland, and those NY Knicks draft picks became more valuable.

He's still putting up 20 a game, and he can afford to lose some athleticism and still be effective for another 2, maybe 3 yrs...basically what the cavs need for now.

Why is everyone else getting their trades done and not Houston? Is Morey asking for too much?

see now you guys can get off me, the rox would have a done a deal with them and the cavs if it wasn't for the mavs, it's pretty much the same exact trade I originally posted about sans the rox being involved. I guess they ended up trusting the wizards catering to Z's preference.

but maybe butler wasn't gonna be that great for the rockets anyway, who knows. I think Haywood would have been nice though.

that's the original thread, now you can **** off to everyone who bugged me about it.

Source: Clippers will NOT buy out Drew Gooden. They are keeping him. Updates as they happen on NBA.com, on Sekou Smith's Hang Time Blog.

Word is Gooden will be bought out...

D.J. Foster (Clipperblog.com/TrueHoop Network): Matt- That's the word right now. Gooden will likely be bought out.

Jeremy Schmidt (Bucksketball/TrueHoop Network): Word is Gooden will be bought out and has the Bucks high on his list of teams he'd like to play for. Why? I don't know.

No Amare, but still a great deal for the Cavs. Basically the 30th pick for Jamison.
