"Washed up" Chris Paul is the best clutch player in the NBA and will be in All-Star Game this year

It's tough to see the team collapse these last 2 games man, it's like snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Dumbtoni and Westbrick rearing their ugly heads and Harden shying away from the big moments these last 2 games I had to take a break cuz it was so frustrating. You are right hopefully we win game 7 but if we don't heads should roll for this mess. It's a disgrace they are even pushed to this point SMH.

 

Pauls contract is one year shorter than Westbrook’s.

Regardless of whatever reasons you want to tell yourself for how or why it happened the tally on who has been better and more healthy through year 1 is Paul 1 Westbrook 0.

And that’s not considering all the draft capital.

The fact is Westbrook now has a very big uphill battle to flip the script on how this trade will be viewed. Personally I don’t think he can play to the level necessary for that to happen. But like I said we have seen glimpses. I just don’t trust him to be reliable enough.

 

Not to be dirty, but what happened to physical defense? A guy is scorching you. That guy is 34+ years old. That guy has injury history.

Option A = let him continue to toy with you while he scores
Option B = foul him hard as ****, and give him those free throws

Tucker likes to talk tough, Harden is a big boy and physical offensively, but there is no "enforcer" on this squad.

 

I'm hoping dirty nut punching Paul has another -37 game tonight like he has already had in this series. Go Rockets!!

Respect to Paul, but maybe you should have lost some weight last year instead being a useless fat turd in the playoffs.

I know he gave his all, but the fact that he decided to have a resurgence this year just pisses me off more because that means he pissed away a season with Houston for no reason.

You made the conference finals once. With Houston. Also, you demanded the max, which is why you got moved. Deal with it as you flop onto your enormous bed each night.

 

He had up and down series imo. Some really really great games and quarters. Then some games where he was meh. He was -36 in game 2 I think. That’s horrible.

and then he was horrible down the stretch of this one. Turnover, missed floater, doesn’t take the ft, bad decision on their last real chance with 14 seconds left, etc. anti-clutch tonight.

Mea while, Harden down the stretch scored or assisted on the Rockets' last 13 points and had 2 huge blocks.

 

Put him on a team with more talent and shooters I think he can be a legit 16 and 10 plus assists a game player even at 35.He is still really intelligent and uses his guile for his declining speed.

having said that the line about him built for the clutch backfired royally on him tonight though.

 

Honestly, respect to CP3. He had some tough moments to end this game, but without him this series is over in 4. Glad to see him have a bounce back year and hope he's able to find a better team to chase a ring with next season.
