I was wondering that myself but thanks to a certain TV channel I only got to watch about 20 minutes of the game. I didn't see him and it would be a damn shame that he wasn't there.
jonathan, was tmac with the team during the game? (Not in Game 6. -- Jonathan) Posted by: yaosha at May 1, 2009 09:50 AM That should answer your question.
or maybe he was trying to avoid the blaming game if he showed up and lost the game. people would be saying that he's the bad luck.
I prefer T-Mac to stay at home, i don´t blame him for not being there, it´s his way of supporting the team, he stays at home and spares his teammates the curse of t-mac. I would rather have him on the lakers bench to see if they start choking.
The Rockets are 2-0 when T-mac blesses the team with his presence on the bench. If that is not greatness, I don't know what is.
I really feel bad for TMAC, but all the bashing he gets just comes with the territory. The Highest paid player on the team, had several chances to get us past the first round but he failed. Why you are looked upon at that level and paid to deliver, failure becomes unacceptable and that what TMAC has done for the Rox these past few years. Coupled with the fact that he is not just as disciplined and focused as the like of Bron, Kobe and wade, he will continue to viewed as a failure. Even Deke was there on his crutches, it was so beautiful and touching to see! but no TMAC. I think I can say that he will be traded in offseason. Thanks for the memories TMAC
Was Deke on the bench, or did he come out of the locker room after the game? Maybe T-Mac was hanging with Deke in the locker room during the game or something. You never know.
Personally, I do not care. It's sad that Barkley and fans are all saying he still did not get out of the first round because technically he did. Vernon Maxwell and Carl Herrera, one taking a leave and one injured, both received rings and were credited with the 1995 championship. I do not want to see him however during the Lakers series. The guy is like most coward Houston Rockets fans saying "we do not stand a chance, we will probably lose, I'm just glad we made it to the semi-finals, hope they can just compete" etc. A lot of people bash Tracy for saying what he said, while they themselves come in here believing the exact same thing (Lakers will get past Rockets, no doubt). How ironic.
