    this doesn't make any sense..

The regular season only serves to prepare for the postseason.... Postseason IS the goal...

I stopped doing that a long time ago. Sorry, but I've suffered through nearly 2 decades of playoff futility. The Rockets have the worst record in the NBA in terms of playoff series wins since 1997, excluding the Bobcats who didn't even exist until 10 years ago and the Raptors who technically can surpass us if they win at home on Sunday.

    Yeah it's about expectations though

Steve Nash's Suns were very good but never went to the Finals ever.

We are on our way. I would call it a semi failure because I am sure enough players will learn from this experience.

Sure thing is Luck was never on our side the last decade.

Haha, nice try but way, way off.

The team did NOT come together when it mattered most. The only "stretch of extraordinary games" that mattered this season needed to happen during the playoffs -- not regular season. Failure to capitalize on home court and only winning 2 postseason games (same as last year as an 8th seed without Howard) is as disastrous as it gets. Every year it seems like McHale's teams back into the postseason. 2014 was no different.

    A complete and utter failure.

We added Dwight Howard to this team and lost in the same round as last year to a lower seeded team.

    Yes, it is a failure.

By Morey's standards. He said we're NOT a championship team this season, but we should...
    -Have 1st round HCA
    -Make the 2nd round

Nope. And we BARELY got HCA. F***** tiebreaker. LMAO
    Houston flops again.
I listened to M*****F***** cheer Lillard's shot in my damn face tonight.

it was a success because we realized we have a lot of issues and we are a paper tiger that needs a lot of fixing

That's what you call a blessing in disguise. But it still doesn't change the fact that this season was a failure.

I agree with Barkley on this one. This year's rockets was not as good as it was hyped up to be.

Had we exited in the second round, I was say no (a push).

As is, yes, it's a failure.

I hoped our chemistry to improve more than it has. In that sense it's a failure.

But this is close to what we expected at the start of the season.

We had to play through the anti-Rockets officiating expected since the pre-season, so at least we got that done and out of the way this year....

Think about the Lakers last year - that was a total failure of a season.
