From what I'm reading Libby will be charged and as I've said several times in this thread, Rove will plea bargain his way out of an indictment. But I have a feeling that Fitzgerald is not done yet. My impression is that he'll extend or reconvene a new grand jury and continue looking into the Niger forgeries and the administration's case for war. This ain't over yet it's just round one...
This is why there were so many last minute interviews ~ which actually might not be such a great sign. I guess we will see for ourselves here in a little while...
I just heard on NPR that this grand jury can be extended. They talked about it not being done, but then said that it was possible and there was speculation that Fitzgerald would do it. They didn't mention the reasons why it was possible for this grand jury.
I read a few days ago that Fitzgerald signed a lease for one year of office space in Washington. Now why would he do that?
Umm How much time would the jury need for this trial? How can any normal working stiffs afford this? I got called to a two day jury duty and all they want to pay me is $14 per day not even worth one hour of work pay.
I also heard that was the lease rumor has been debunked. I do not think that Fitzgerald is done. He just has to convene a new grand jury. No BFD (for Fitzgerald that is). Internet rumor are flying that Rove may resign today even if he is not indicted, since Fitzgerald will eventually reel him in and the WH does not need 6 more months of this. I will be stunned if Rove does resign.
Can we please have some indictments? This waiting is more nerve wracking than waiting for the Rockets'opener or even the 9th inning of an Astro's Series' game.
i am intentionally ignorant of everything going on with this. but i say remove them all from power...install Kool & the Gang...and let the good times roll.
I can see being tired with all the rumors. Are you saying it is not important and just something to joke about?
