Yep. If only we still hand Hinkle, the team would have been able to add a bunch of 2nd round picks!

What exactly do you want Morey to do? Keep trading just to keep trading? The closer you get to a set roster, the less money and players you have to include in trades, therefore, there's going to be less of them.

Third seed in the West, 8 game winning streak. 20 wins over .500. Yep, blow it up. Also, it takes (at least) two teams to make a trade work.

Hinkie would have spun Gracia and Casspi into LeBron and Durantula.

Hinkie is smart man - accumulating 2nd rounds picks - in this CBA they are harder to get. Ask Mitch Kup (laker). He couldnt get 2 for Hill... Hinkie got 6!!!!! today.

it is because he had a lot of things going for him.
    1.Cap space
    2. Expiring contracts
    3. Good Value contracts
    4. Decent players
    5. Roster Space

All trades came with a price (2nd rd picks). It makes sense for teams looking to upgrade but had little manuever room to call phili. I am just surprised that LAL didnt call them to help faciliate a trade... oh yeah, the Lakers wanted picks not give picks.

Murray is nothing more than the leader of a puppet regime. It's clear now that Hinkie was the one pulling the strings.
