Funny how the one calling others "troll" is the one who threw the giant bait in the water. What did ya' expect to catch while trolling? No response? I'm tired of seeing every post with either of the two obvious parties in question filled with bickering and foul language. In the case of a bbs, "troll" does not mean some creature, rather someone who incessantly posts messages to lure out a response from another... Just as a marlin fisherman uses a certain lure while trolling at a fixed rate of speed measured in knots... It's effective in that recreational past time as well. If one of you would stop responding we'd all appreciate it. I voted "yes" for the same reason SamFisher did. Go figure. (And by the given definition in this thread, some would say I'm more "libpig" than not. Strange.)

I think the thread brings to light exactly what it is and the kind of Americans that are targeted by the divisive speech used by people like bigtexxx, and TJ. This lays it out plainly and shines a light on the dark and ways for all to see. They are trying to demonize those who are opposed to them, and this thread does a good job of putting a human face to those TJ, and bitexxx wish to demonize. They are free to continue to demonize, but how much credence can you give to someone who would call CSK a libpig, etc. I thought the thread was thoughtful, and quite effective. It isn't a matter of both sides doing it. I'll keep a scorecard if anyone would like. In short, they have great difficulty in working efficiently and effectively...First you observe, then you demonstrate the proper manner and you clue for understanding, and engage the person to replicate the understanding through action. The process is transforming potential winners into winners, but occasionally you have those that cannot get it, and eventually you sit down with the person to discuss career planning with that person who cannot get it. Now, go look at the D&D when something negative happens in Iraq or Afghanistan. The liberals have several threads about it within minutes and there will be many posts highlighting the US military's failures. How many times do the liberals have to post that Mission Accomplished mocking photo, or the fact that Cheney said that the insurgency is in its last throes? Truly sickening. When all the threads and posts are negative and the positive news is never highlighted, it doesn't take much effort to read between the lines. It really doesn't. It is certainly true that I see things through my own filter. However, this isn't an attempt to demonize anyone. It merely, correctly points out the type of rhetoric and tactics you regularly use. I haven't called conservatives authoritarian dogs, or any other names. Putting a whole group of people under one derogative name is where the demonizing happens, and it is being done by you, and TJ. Cheney lying about the insurgency and trying to sugarcoat the war isn't my idea of supporting the troops. I support them by believing they are entitled to the truth.
