Got to trust that Bill O'Brian is going to find his QB. He may already have him in Savage. But BOB is not going to fit a square peg in a round hole. Because the Texans were all in on both Carr and Shaubb, they ignored the position for years and years. I like that BOB is forming the Texans into an elite Defensive unit, that will find their QB eventually. They may not need an all world QB, just a borderline almost pro bowl type.
They certainly come close enough though... Brees, Eli, Stafford, Carr, Rivers all throw for close to 30 TD's in large part because of how many times their teams have to throw (due to trailing in games). Just pointing out that any stat that does not have a direct correlation to wins, and is often enhanced when a team is losing, needs to be taken more in context. Hence why I said years 3-5 are critical. Even with the huge gaudy numbers, he's still got some serious growing to do to determine if he is the for-sure answer that can lead the Jaguars to winning. The only thing you can say in certainty right now is that he wasn't a bust (which given what's happened to RG3, Kapernick, Bradford, Manziel, EJ Manuel, Geno Smith, Tannehill, Locker, Gabbert, Ponder, Tebow, Sanchez.... definitely warrants patience).
