I must dig up my post where I said Nash would be eaten alive by big/quick PGs now that Marion isn't covering for him.

I know we are talking Nash vs. another elite PG but Stevie boy looks bad. He reminds me of a tiny Novak defensively. Phoenix is going to make a legend out of any PG they face in the playoffs.

I think Nash is going to struggle in the playoffs and next year we will see his age catch up to him in a big way.

Am I the only one that thinks Shaq/Amare would mash the Bynum/Gasol due in the postseason? I just can't see Gasol doing anything with Amare....

Conclusion: the best way of your 20 millions acquisition to help you is by sitting on the bench. :D

Shaq/Amare is very effective when playing teams with a big front court. Look at how Shaq neutralized Duncan when they played Spurs. I think they match up well with Lakers/Spurs, even Rockets with Yao.

Nash's age has caught up to him this season. He's still an incredible player on offense, but from the games I've seen, Nash has been abused on defense more than ever. One of the keys to beating the Suns is capitalizing on Nash's horrible defense.

Too bad I fell asleep at halftime. From what I gather, the Suns took control of the game with Shaq on the bench.
