Garnett is, like, good or something. Can we trade Moochie for him straight up? Ok, let's throw in a 2nd round pick if we have to.

I really hope Penny gets injuried again. They look a whole lot better with him than without him. He made some really good plays down the stretch until Amare screwed it up.

suns play sacramento tomorrow. we play the clippers on tuesday i think.

now, if we dont lose to the clips, we should be tied with phoenix by wendsday. then, we play the suns next week i belive. we could very well move into the playoffs, and then 8th place will be ours to lose again.

Actually the Lakers need Portland, Utah and Minnesota to falter to make a run at homecourt advantage in the first round. And the Warriors need the Rockets to falter to jump over them, and the Suns need the Rockets to falter since they're trying to beat us out for a playoff spot, and the Rockets hold the tie breaker. Now the Rockets desperately need to beat the Clippers and Bulls at home, because if they do, and they will likely get the last playoff spot, the Suns are on the road against the Warriors and Kings. If the Rockets clean up and home, and the Suns falter on the road, the Rockets could take a one game lead for the playoff spot into the home game against the Suns. Come on Rocks, take care of business!

Yeah, I don't even mind putting Collier in as well. He and Nesterivich will form a new twin tower in Minnesoda, and both the Rockets and the Wolves will benefit. It'a win-win situation. Man, no-brainer.

Now it's time to root for Golden State to take care of business on Tuesday.

If Golden State beats the Suns, and the Rockets take care of the Clippers (which they bloody-well better), Houston is back in the playoffs.

We can thank the Suns for being equally as sh*tty as the Rockets have been for the past month.

I won't try to compare Rox with Warriors. If I have to compare these two teams, then we're pretty pathetic :)

As to Suns, they're still 1 game ahead of us. So they care more on winning games than relying on us to falter. We are the only supposedly fine team in the Western Conference who relies on other teams to falter. If we keep winning but Suns also keeps winning, then we won't make it to the 8th spot. We have to rely on Suns losing while we wins :)

Wolves will not trade Garnett for any rocket except Yao and francis and a draft pick then...Wolves will reap rewards and Rockets will have a all star without peers and no rings for years to come........NO TRADE

Well, if we keep winning, the Suns keeps winning, but we beat the Suns at home next time we meet. We will win the tie-breaker and thus the 8th seed.

And thank god for that. People don't realize how bad the Suns are right now, you know how bad the Rockets have been and how people have ripped them, and rightfully so? Well the Suns are worse, they had like a 2.5 to 3 game lead on the Rockets when the Rockets were in the 8th spot before this collapse. And lets hope the Suns continue to collapse, because if they lose to the Warriors and Kings, and the Rockets beat the Suns next week, the Rockets will have a 3 game lead over them (2 games up in the loss column + the season series/tiebreaker). This week is a big week, there is no reason the Rockets shouldn't win the next 3 since they're all home games. Please take care of business Rocks!

That's not true, if the Rockets keep winning, and the Suns keep winning the Rockets are in the playoffs, we don't have to rely on the Suns losing at all. Assuming the Rockets hold serve against the Suns, and the Suns and Rockets finish the season the exact same way, they would have identical records, but the Rockets would be in by virtue of winning the season series 3-1. So in actuality the Suns now need US to falter or need to beat the Rockets at the Compaq Center. The Rockets actually control their own fate now. So the Suns are VERY concerned about the Rockets.

Come on guys. Stop dreaming. No way rox can win all of the rest games. Neither can sun. So their fates are still in their own hands.

    Go Rockets!! Beat Sun.

It's an example, nobody believes these teams are going to run the table.

The refs cost the Suns the win tonight.

    1. KG pushed Penny out of bounds when Penny was driving the baseline and it resulted into Minnesota taking a 98-96 lead with a minute left.

    2. Noway you call someone for such a ticky tack offensive moving screen foul with under a minute left. It resulted in 3 more points for Minnesota.

And that doesn't even mention a questionable call when the refs said the ball went off of Marbury instead of Wally.

They can't since Phoenix and Houston meet each other again.

Phoenix has it in their hands as well and better odds. They are one game up on the Rockets and can take care of buisness by beating the Rockets on March 16.

I watched the game on Laegue Pass and all of those calls looked solid to me, especially the not questionable at all out of bounds call that went right off Marbury's leg. KG probably did bump Penny, but he was also fouled on the other end before being called for traveling. As for the Stoudemire pick, really it is the guards fault. If the play was for a pick, the guard has to, HAS TO, wait for it to be set. He didn't, foul, enough said.

And by the time the Suns face the Rockets the Rockets could be tied or up 1 game on the Suns, take care of business at the Compaq Center and own the tie breaker against the Suns. Yet if the Suns managed to win in Houston they still wouldn't own the tie breaker, they would have to do other things to win the tie breaker. And I'd say the Rockets odds are just as good as the Suns, the Suns may be one game up, but the Rockets own the tie breaker, have the home game against the Suns, and play the Clippers and Bulls next while the Suns play at Golden State and then play a red hot Sacramento Kings.
