Haha ,yep. Funny thing is OP posts pro-Islamic posts validating the reasons there's a terrorist event. Let's just pretend like certain things aren't happening and play it cool.... while everything burns around us.

What you are doing right now, is what you are complaining about other people doing, think about that for a second.

Chicken Little  The team has to win something 1st before you can go with the sky is falling routine. They haven't done shyt since the 90's. So it's natural for fans to be a little worried.

McHale is blamed for some of the most bizarre things to blame a coach for, but I suppose this thread serves the purpose of placing the nonsense into a focused environment rather than being lost amongst random game threads so others can see how ridiculous it really gets.

Can we just attribute this to them being a better team and just match up very well against our lineup?

No, because the post itself is wrong. He takes the factors that make Golden State better than us and pretends it then applies to the season in general.

Mchale should be gone based on the obvious shortcoming displayed since his first season.

McHales primary job this season is to get Dwight Howard to post up less rather doing something much more efficient. He hasn't been able to do that .... That's my main complaint.

Over the course of the season only 2.52 out of every 10 Howard post opportunities directly result in a basket.
4 in ten are turnovers (no shot) while 3.48 in ten result in a missed shot.

Basically 7.5 out of every 10 times Howard posts up .... Something bad happens.

When McHale allows this to continue , that's just not good coaching.

I'd just counter with more facts , like the following:

He converts 78% of his assisted shot attempts into buckets and less than 1 in ten of those possessions end in a turnover.

So what if McHale is a great speaker. Either he isn't delivering the right message or he's not getting his point across.

So what if McHale is a great recruiter , he's not getting the most out of those recruits.

This offense could be lethally efficient if he could convince Howard to operate within a pick & roll based offense. They showed early in the season it was damn near unstoppable.

The other thing is that in the post Howard takes a beating on every possession , he wouldn't take near the pounding in a pick and roll situation either as the picker or the 3rd wheel operating along the baseline.
It would extend his career ....

How dare you back up your post with credible facts and statistics. This is the internet, that's not allowed 'round these parts.

    You just blew my mind.

I am complaining about b@#^$-ass posters. You are complaining about the Houston Rockets. This is the Houston Rockets Fan Forum. Think about that for as long as it takes. . . .

So its ok to whine as long as you whine about people who complain about the Rockets on a Rockets forum?

Online Forum - An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted message.

Discussion - the action or process of talking about something, typically in order to reach a decision or to exchange ideas.
"the proposals are not a blueprint but ideas for discussion"

a conversation or debate about a certain topic.
    plural noun: discussions
    "discussions about environmental improvement programs"
    synonyms: conversation, talk, dialogue, discourse, conference, debate, exchange of views, consultation, deliberation;

Debate - to argue about (a subject)

So just to be clear you are mad at people for coming onto an online forum to do things that people are supposed to do on on-line forums... makes sense, lol

Some times a team just has your number. The Warriors have ours in a big way. It's troubling because if everything shakes out the way it's going now we will probably be matched up with them in the second round.

Mchale is the coach for the forseeable future, nothing is going to change that. I just dont see the point of certian posters posting that Mchale sucks every day. Yes we know he isnt the greatest coach and that you want him fired, but do you have to clutter every thread every day saying the same stuff? I just dont see the point.

Its less natural actually. For fans to freak out that signing Josh Smith is too risky is ridiculous. We havent won anything and we need to take risks.

Not to mention that was a low risk move.

Seems to me the discussion went a bit awry because of a simple (?) missing.

If one puts that ? at the end of the post it now reads...

To me, the OP is asking a question. Why, if certain posters think the Warriors have better players, is the loss still mostly McHale's fault? The follow-up posts by glynch seem to fit more with that meaning/intent.
