Warriors are like Jalen fans (or maybe the other way around :D) … only hear about “physicality” and “dirty play” when they lose.
Only hear about “spacing” and “Sengun” and “tempo” and “Udoka” when we lose.

Taking a page out of Phil Jackson’s book, working the refs through the media.

Hey man, did you see your scrub head butt?

Kerr is a b****, maybe the biggest b**** and that team has some b****es.

PS: Breaking news: team targets injured player or injured body part. Not the first time, won’t be the last time.

I would whack that thumb over and over again until Curry has to shoot with his left hand.

I would hope that they target it on purpose. They can blame Draymond....when your teammate has made a career of intentionally harming players, he opens everybody else up to getting effed with. It's like if a baseball player acts like a jackass, any one of his other teammates could get beaned.

I wonder if we can get him to do a circus layup and then stamp on it whilst he's on the floor?

Bonus points if we can get Draymond to accidentally stamp on it for us.

    NEVER FORGET:

Steve Kerr literally tried to break Hardens legs by telling his players to slide under him on jump shots. It was the dirtiest most blatant thing I’ve ever seen in sports. The NBA had to make new rules to stop this dangerous strategy. And now they are concerned about a slapped thumb? Really?

I'm sure I would still hate them without Draymond, but in a more normal sports fan way instead of the genuine hate I feel. It's really a shame, I think even though Curry's showboating would be annoying for opposing teams and fans, he would be generally likeable and electric, but he's just totally tainted by the Draymond connection in my brain.

As to OP, I just can't find it in me to care about Curry's thumb when Draymond is doing some sort of flipping windmill kick into people's necks, Butler is choking people and pushing them mid-air, and their scrubs are starting fights. Like, I seriously do not care at all.

And yet the NBA let it slide in Game 6 and maybe 7 of the WCF when Chris Paul went out.

    How did that go?
Steve Kerr to his players: "Slide under them, the refs won't call it. If they do, we adjust. But they won't."

I will never, ever forget C-Webb and Reggie throughout the game, remarking on GSW players: "How is that not a foul?!"

That same game: "Let's ask former NBA referee Steve Javie." What did you think Steve Javie was going to say about his former coworkers?! "I remember when I used to get that extra cash under the table to let a dynasty team win, man, but I invested my money so I'm good"?

He said, "Well, looking at these plays, they probably feel that Harden is flopping to sell contact...." OF COURSE HE'S FALLING DOWN! He has to sell an obvious foul that isn't getting called so he doesn't get his ankles all f**** up!

    UCK-fay the Warriors.

Refs are going to obliterate us in Game 6. NO question about it.

Yep, I wish Brooks had kept his mouth shut or just straight up denied it.

Kerr playing this card to lean the refs even more in their favor for game 6. Man I hate the warriors and their crybaby antics.

Yes, this is the difference for sure. Draymond is closer to the Bad Boys type era. If Houston had like a Draymond/Rodman/Artest/Bowen or imo the worst, Laimbeer, GSWs might have still won the 27 3 bullshit game, but they wouldn't have been doing so standing under Harden's landing spot repeatedly, and would have been hobbled for that next series.

I don't really want players/people getting hurt but at the same time, you can't let your own team be the victim of it. A Laimbeer type would have pulled Harden/team aside and said, "let Curry come down the lane for one of those floaters/layup and I'll do the rest", and yeah, he'd most likely be ejected by today's rules but Curry and team were going to be hobbled.

Is it right, no, but Warriors and their fans are absolutely delusional (probably more their fans, Kerr and team knows how to play the game, I just wish they didn't sugarcoat it/play the victim, but it's probably more to do with league image/standards in today's game vs the teams in 70-90s), and there's a huge difference between swiping someone's injured thumb vs standing in someone's landing space repeatedly. Draymond openingly admitting to punching Hardens wrist for being "pinched", is comical, I mean I'd expect him to swipe/slap, but come on, even he knows better.

I mean their fans overly thought Butler injury was on purpose, if the Warriors thought it was, Draymond or another bench player would have retaliated, because that's their MO.

I mean that headbutt **** last night, I'm glad it didn't escalate, but you know the objective was to get a starter to throw a punch.

I'm glad Houston is getting under their skin, I just hope the refs/league don't interfere. I don't think either team will win it all or something this year, I'd just like the Rockets to finally close the Warriors window.
