Does "cone of uncertainty" ring a bell to anyone?

The "cone of silence" was a metaphor for "not in the this room, or watching/listening to what's going on in here."

    Furthermore... I don't care.

Ever read that they both interviewed with Warren pre-debate?

Ever read that McCain answered using his recently stumped answers anyway?

Ever read that it won't matter in the long run to reply to my post, because I didn't care in the first place?

It's not going to make a hill of beans difference in this media environment. They'll make a scandal where there is none, and ignore real scandal in plain sight.

There are a few media types that have somehow implicated Rick Warren in this "scandal" as well.

The media only sees and reports their own reality.

This election cycle it will be harder for the general populous to see things for themselves and make real choices.

There were rules to this event and John McCain cheated those rules. Period.

It doesn't mean he gained an unfair advantage, though he had every opportunity to. And certainly nobody in Obama's camp is accusing him.

But he gamed the rules here. And that's the only reason we're even talking about it.

All he had to do was show up and enter the control room as promised.

Failing that (as he did) he could at least issue a statement saying nobody briefed him and that he heard nothing from anyone that he wouldn't have heard in a secure room.

The fact that his denials fall short of that is totally a thing.

But it's not that important. We all expect Republicans to cheat. It's what they do. And they're proud of it. Corsi's a great example. If Republicans weren't all about cheating, McCain would have been in a safe room (or promised he didn't gain an advantage later) and they would have disavowed everything from Corsi.

But they will never do that because cheating is part of the strategy. Ask George. He's hell of proud of it.

I agree up until the mcdonalds point. he needs to be more decisive, being a leader isn't just about good judgement, its about setting a tone and direction.

as far as the mcdonald's point, he doesn't need to pander.

I've never seen so many sore losers in my life (Michael Moore after Nov 2004 notwithstanding)...

Obama got demolished in this forum. Instead of acknowledging that the messiah swung and missed (like all pundits and the polls have done for us), the libs dredge up allegations of cheating? Can you say sour grapes?
