Other teams can offer him more money than us......

Hopefully more than cash will motivate his decision.

Parker is not threatened by C. Ward; he would basically take over the Terry Porter/Steve Kerr role the Spurs will need come playoff time - consistent limited turnover veteran calming influence with the occasional timely "3" - also being a protege of Riley & Van Gundy Pop will like his defense. Also gives the Spurs yet another look for other teams to cope with; Parker-Ward, Manu-Turkoglu-Mercer, Bowen - Turkoglu - Horry; etc.

The transformation to the Houston Knicks continues.

The Knicks garbage are all fast becoming the new winter Texans!

What Knicks garbage!? I never understood that sentiment, the Rockets have Weatherspoon, that's it. I don't consider Ewing and Van Gundy garbage. Heck if a guy played for the Knicks and can help us, fine. I'm pretty sure nobody here would turn down Kurt Thomas because he played for the Knicks. As for Ward, why would the Spurs want him? Hart has been doing a fine job.

I can't wait until he's in a Rox uniform...JVG will utilize him a lot more and hopefully jump start this team to consistent winning...

It appears as though Ward might be going to the Nets...the Nets just released Robert Pack. The ESPN "on the hour" sports news on 610 made it sound like it was a done deal. Bad news if it's true!

Right on, Othella was a pretty decent guy on and off the court. Cept New York hasn't given up on him yet.
