Pence and Pompeo are both supposed to be End Time or whatever believers. Do they actually think their asses or their families will be raptured if they can create WW III. Yes. According the Evangelicals, all you have to do is no matter what you just did, or have done, as long as right before the rapture, or before you die, if you just ask God to forgive your sins.... bam.... you are raptured, or go to heaven when you die. So in theory, Pence could nuke Canada for the hell of it, and then immediately after ask God to forgive him, and then he's all good to go to the pearly gates. What has changed though since Trump is the idea of forgiveness & repentance. That fundamental key to being a Christian no longer applies and is seen as a weakness since Trump came along.
