It’s not impossible but I think it’s very very unlikely there is a deployment of US combat troops to Ukraine or Israel. I don’t think there is any political will for that. I also think a large scale deployment of US troops to anywhere else is very unlikely especially before the election.

The only thing I can see that would make that happen is something that clearly amounts S an act of war agains the US. For example if Iran blew up a US embassy with a missile.

I agree that it is very unlikely. I don't think the status quo will result in any US troops on the ground. However, the situation in both regions of the world are volatile. I could see another nation deciding to get involved and then the US being drawn in.... as for the Middle East, it isn't being discussed a lot, but from the family members I have over there and from what my friends that are in the high levels of the military - this is the worst that the Middle East has been across the board. Many of these countries are not only fighting outside influences like the USA and Saudi Arabia; but they fear the strength of insurgents and the divides between Muslims are at a very high level. There is genuine fear of revolution in some places.

Yes - and with so many different actors at play, and some of them not even being leaders of nations - something like this is very possible.

Iran has a LOT of influence in the Middle East. There are Iranian operatives and religious sympathizers throughout the region. The potential consequences of Iran and Israel fighting are catastrophic.

There is a real chance that Iraq will fall or de facto fall to Iran and they will border Israel....

I think it’s just rumbling at this point because Iran lacks the capability to actually attack any nation with hard power. It’s all soft power with money and guns from Lebanon to Iraq.

Iran likely will not at first directly attack anyone - they will use their operatives, and the extremists that they support to do most of the damage and to see what reaction it can provoke. Also - do not under-estimate the possibility of Iran continuing to strengthen their relationships with Russia and other anti-western nations.

China is the real wild card in this since they can use the chaos to invade Taiwan.

Friday is Quds day, which would be a strongly symbolic date for Iran to attack Israel.

Biden Administration doing their best to get us into WW3. NATO's eastward expansion has ALWAYS been Putin's red line. Now this wrongheaded Administration is looking to admit Ukraine into NATO. This will result in war with Russia. The Biden Administration knows this... and they want more war. They must be voted out.

You can’t gaslight us. We all lived through the Rex Tillerson and Mike Pompeo state departments.
Blinken has been heads and shoulders better than his conservative predecessors.
Biden has been heads and shoulders better than his predecessor and current conservative nominee Trump.

You all don’t like Biden because he is “on the wrong team”.
