Again though, them confirming that a 3rd hand source from a former administration is spreading rumors isn't really important though. Every single first hand source has denied the story.....so unless there were tapes of the meetings that's the end of it. You never take a 3rd hand account over a first hand account unless you just want to believe no matter what.

not the source of the classified info.​

McMaster was defending that Trump did not give up "the source of the highly classified info",
which was not what WaPo had reported. This is the proverbial non-denial denial

I think we can say for certain that the 3rd hand account by the member of the previous administration happened for sure, there's no need for further confirmation of that part of it. Unfortunately given that every first hand source has denied the story.....well we'd need something else to happen before this is worth any more of our time.
