Wait till when Green, Cunningham, Mobley, and Barnes team up in Houston to dominate the league for a decade.

Mitchell is fun to watch because he hits a lot of tough shots. But he is not worth the salary it would take to get him now. His lack of size is a permanent defensive liability and his offensive efficiency is good but not MVP-tier. I doubt he wins anything unless he becomes a sixth man, at a reduced salary.

The super max situation didn’t solve superstars staying with their teams but it definitely did do a lot to curb super teams. Hopefully a team like GS will never be able to win titles and then still have the cap space to just go get a Kevin Durant.

Im totally okay though with a group of old timers taking less to play together at the end of their careers. I think the league benefits in contrast of styles so team ups shouldn’t be immediately dismissed…. But KD to GSW shouldn’t ever be a possibility again if the league wants to remain interesting like it is now.

That would be interesting. He's a better shot creator than van Vleet, and he'd be a nice complement to Siakam and Barnes.
