For those who haven't met me, I'll be the one with the huge, unmanageable penis. I'll be flanked by Toooonaaayyy and Cracka Dave. Can't miss us. So how many people are confirmed for the game? And also, how much cash should we bring if we aren't staying for the picnic?
Some corrections The picnic and pick-up game is FREE for anyone who bought a Section 208 Ticket for $34. For everyone else, it is $5 for the picnic, and $2 for the pick-up game. You know, I totally over-extended myself here, so it would be really cool if you all manage the water and drinks by yourself. Also note that there is water fountains and soda machine in the building. Showers Dean.... if it makes any difference, I can accomodate out of towners showering in my house at the picnic. So bring a change of clothes if you want. Directions My house is not that easy to give directions, too. Just show up at the park before 2pm and you will get directions...or figure it out from R2K's post. The park directions are at http://www.smeggysmeg.com/houstonevents.html Time of the events There's been some confusion due to the overlap of times. The park is rented from 11am-2pm, and I will be there at 10:30am. Now, I also have to set up the picnic and get the keg, so I figured I'd make the picnic start time at 1pm for any bored wives, guys with age-old knee/back injuries, someone getting freshly injured by RocketsPimp trying to be an enforcer, or others helping set up (whatever) to arrive. The keg will probably be picked up at 1:30 and flowing at 2pm sharp. B As for money...Section 208 people who paid $34 are Free....everyone else is $2 for pickup game and $5 for picnic. any last questions???
also, if you want to help with anything, email me with your phone number. I could use coolers, ice, tomatoes, buns, sodas/water, etc. I will pay you back out of the Smeggy fund; it's just that the time issue is over-extending me. clip my email button...and give me your phone number, please. thx also, if you have your own folding chair...bring it.
sigh...no edit...what I meant by the above statement is bring your own water that you need for playing basketball, and note that the indoor court has a fountain and soda machine. You don't need your own sodas/drinks for the picnic.
Remember I am still in for bringing my cooler and 3 bags of Ice I'll also throw in our lawn chairs.I may be late to the basketball game. My mother is supposed to keep my son all weekend but she conveniently got sick yesterday so i am not sure what we are going to do. We may be bringing him to my in-laws in Houston which will make us late for the game.
I just thought I'd let y'all in on my master plan: Since my son has a baseball game from 10-11:45, I won't be at the pickup game till 12:30. This way, I can wait till all of you have tired and slowed down, then I can dominate the second half of play.
Well actually, I won't be able to attend so I guess R2K and Riet better bring some crutches. I will gladly pay anyone a handsome reward for some photos of a compound fracture of someone's ankle after Behad hits them with his killer crossover.
Ive already chickened out but will also happily cherrypick the last 5 minutes of the game and run circles around everyone.
besides, I saw the pics of RIET, and I think he mis-represented himself...he doesn't look old or out of shape.. and since RM95 chickedned out also,or will be a "guest of the state", I'll probably be the only old phucker there(except for Behad)
There's still a chance I'll make it down tomorrow, but in my current state, I won't be able to play. My neck and back are absolutely killing me, due, no doubt, to spending 7 hours on the floor of the county jail yesterday.
Haha. You try sitting on hard concrete for seven hours, compounded with the uncertainty of whether or not you're going to have to spend the night there.
Never been to lockup man. That sucks. What I meant is for you to elaborate on why you were there. Not why your neck and back were hurting, although I though it would have been other spots on your body hurting after a night in the pokey.
Well it looks like I am out for the Pickup game and picnic. As usual my parents can't keep my son (I should have known because they always do this stupid **** on us) . We will only be coming in for the basketball game.
We are considering it but if we bring him neither my wife nor myself will ge tto enjoy the festivities. He's 2 ,the size of a 4 year old, and will run all over the place for 6 hours without stopping. She just talked to her parents and they may keep him during the afternoon which will allow us to make part of the bbq but I am not positive what we are going to do. we haven't had a weekend together alone since he was born because we have planned one 4-5 times and my parents have always canceled on us at the last minute.
Sounds exactly like my son who is 2 and is mistaken for a older kid all the time. He will be 3 in August. I could bring my little monster and you could bring yours and the wifes might enjoy chatting? While I dunk on you!
