Close. It was Miss Emily Letillo that used to rant off-base then say "never mind". Rosanna Rosannadana had the big hair and was "if it's not one thing, it's another"

I love Deke's interviews. Hearing that voice cracks me up.

Once and for all, reasons why WZZ will never play for the Rox.

    1. He sucks
    2. He is public enemy #1 with the Chinese government
    3. In Yao's book, he stated he and WZZ were huge rivals with very little in common
    4. He is a true center...which is the only spot where we need absolutely no tweaking right now.
    5. Did I mention that he sucks?

Look, I've watched enough kung-fu movies to know all Chinese people don't inherently like each other. So lets drop this topic. It seems to come up every couple of months.

WZZ was always a couple years ahead of Yao and played on a different team. So Yao always respected WZZ but Yao's personal goals were to beat the crap out of WZZ anytime they played against each other. They were never friends and have different very personalities.

WZZ is a true center? Huh? When he was with the Mavs all he did was stand outside and shoot threes.

Of course, I haven't watched what he's done with the Heat this year, so he might have changed his style of play...

Screw that doughy mother****er. Thanks to his shenanigans, it's going to be a damn sight harder to ever convince the Chinese government that Yao should train in the U.S. over the offseason.

WZZ could be a Sam Perkins type of power forward. His problem is that he has not find the move that works in the NBA yet.

One of his biggest bad moves was refusing to play for the Chinese national team. By doing so, he not only lost credibility in the NBA but in China and the international stage as well. Not to mention WZZ has lost millions of dollars on the commercial side ... He chose a bad agent for sure, who gave him bad instructions.

Question is who we can waive if we get WZZ. All our bigs are pretty much locked in contract. We probably wouldnt waive Gaines or Barret, since we need their service in case our starting guards go down. On the other hand, WZZ is probably dirt cheap to sign. He is a 7 footer who likes to shoot and doesnt play D. Big no no Gundy's sytem (either one of them) for role players.

i don't even have to read it. the answer is no.

they were enemies in china no? plus wang is persona no grata in china, that makes it a difficult situation for Yao. now signing bateer might be something else.

in fact this is not true, the christmas game was broadcasted in china.
and i have to make it clear, its not the chinese government who do not like wang, its CBA(china basketball association), the situation for wang is not so bad in china, sports news will refer to him if he did something. anyway i think wang deserve this chilling treatment, you know he is still a military official and he refused to go back play for his country, i believe in this case, people in US can not tolerate either.

wang used to be a nature born player, when he was young(yao was also very young at that time),coaches told yao's mom yao could never play basketball because he had a great ass, and they all like wang, said he can run and jump well.isnt this interesting?

    No kidding

Yao was once deemed hopeless BBaller before he started.

WZZ was the a top 5 player in his prime days, but he made bad moves after coming into NBA.

yeah, that's why i think Wang's a bit jealous of Yao's achievement now. not that Yao has accomplished anything in NBA, but compared to Wang's situation...
