or KPFT, KTSU, or KTRU. The only good radio in Houston is public radio. The rest of it is pathetically bad and not worth listening to.
S&P did the Uncle Waldo sketches... Waldo, Nymphia Scooter Pie, Queen Aretha, Big Bruno. I don't think they stayed in character through the whole show like W&J though, unless you count Eddie The Boner Sanchez.
What is a "Katrician"? Is that a reference to Katrina? S&P were off the air WAY before Katrina. Didn't they get canned in the 90's? They didn't do characters, except for the little play they did called Uncle Waldo. And they weren't political at all, if I remember right. They were just real stupid, which made the show kind of funny. I remember they had a guy named Chuck Schramk who was a huge conspiracty buff. He used to do a "newscast" at the top of the hour and play portions of the Art Bell show from the night before. I don't listen to Walter and Johnson. I'm sure their characters are totally unfunny. If you want characters on the radio, check out Phil Hendrie. He pretty much invented that whole schitck.
Same here, or sports radio am, but once in a while, ya know, mb the mp3 is at home, or you just don't feel like getting it out of the glove compartment or wherever, it was alright to put it on the Arrow for Dean and Rog. W&J, notsomuuuuch.
