    Per Walt of Walter Football:
I've had Ezekiel Elliott slotted to the Texans for quite some time, and I can guarantee 100 percent that he'll be the pick if he gets there, but it's sounding like Elliott will be chosen much higher than that - probably in the top 10.

Mock Draft - Look under Dolphins pick

This means no trade ups are on the table, as of now?

Every year the best mocks get thrown for a loop about the 4th pick, usually Arizona or Oakland, or, late rumors drop highly rated players, also trades etc. So, you can't say. Would the Texans take Lynch if he were there at 22? It would depend on the final evaluation and they won't be releasing that info from the tight circle of decision makers.

I do think Elliot would be a good pick at 22. You have to plan for life without Arian and a great run game is the basis for any offense. But there is no way to know who is on the board at 22.

What else are they supposed to do for their sports itch? Follow the Rockets? :)

I think you could say the Texans will pick Jared Goff or Carson Wentz if available, too. But I'm not breaking any news, there.

I don't think Wentz, Goff, or Elliott will be available at #22 so what's the point. Do we really want to say "If available insert top 10 talent's name here, Texans will select insert top 10 talent's name here."

Great sports journalism that right there.

Yep, prospect lists in baseball and mock drafts in the other 2 sports are pretty much the silliest stuff sports fans obsess over.
