Maybe I'm slow, but this was a little cryptic to me. Is this a sign of the Rockets having good or poor standing in the West? Also, which other reject are you referring to? I'm guessing Rob Horry, but I don't know if I would call him a "reject" in the same context as Wiz, since he was actually part of the trade that got us Barkley, as opposed to someone who we just chose not to re-sign.
He is referring to Willis. Lobo, Don't put too much faith in the "if he is our reject, and in their rotation - we must be better." Samaki Walker is a Spurs "reject" and starts for the Lakers. Different Teams = Different Depths = Different Systems = Different Needs
The other reject is Willis. The point is all of this reflects our depth that players we have no room for actually pursued and used by our major competitors.
101 6 7 Good point. I am putting stock into it because in these two instances we know that those acquisitions help correct what I consider to be major weaknesses on those teams. It does not mean that they were destined to lose their position without these additions; however it is something to consider when I try to project a position for the rockets.
