Because Target is priced slightly higher so they attract people that are willing to pay more. People willing to pay more typically have more money. People who have more money typically care to dress nice and hold them selves up to a certain standard. People who dress nice and and hold them selves up to a certain standard are typically more beautiful By the way.. What happens if you give a mouse a cookie???
Because target is cleaner. "Prettier" people go to cleaner places. Trust me, I know. My desk is dirty. You get points for the execution, but lose some points... bad form.
because the money they get from charging slightly more is put towards better marketing and brand building to attract those that would pay more. rinse and repeat.
Actually I have noticed personally that white people LOVE going to Target, even when they're located in black neighborhoods. They find a way to get there.
I've never seen a Target "in a black neighborhood"... please enlighten me. WHERE? No. When am I NOT serious? WHEN?
The customer service and better advertising from Target. Wal-Mart generally does not place an emphasis on customer service at all. They will hire anyone. Their priority is volume sold, which is why they are priced slightly lower. In short, Wal-Mart is just not clean due to the lower standards of their customer service. Their layout also makes it seem like a budget super store, at least when generally compared to Target.
Theres two Targets in Brooklyn that I know of. One is in Flatbush and I see white people there everytime I go there and the other is in Starrett City, and is always filled with white people. Both Flatbush and Starrett City are in majority black neighborhoods.
Walmart is a cluster**** free-for-all megastore. I went to several last year during the HP Touchpad fire-sale madness and the checkout line in the electronics department was full of people with their groceries because there were no cashiers in the front. There's no way any other business can get away with being run like that.
