As far as the returning policy goes, You cant really blame Walmart, there are a bunch of idiots that go there buy something, use it, then return it. Or some other form of fraud. That is why it is so hard to return stuff nowadays, compared to about 10 or more years ago. People have changed a lot, I dont see the honesty and principles I used too. It's not their in the customers or the people who run the stores. Personally I dont even bother returning stuff, even if its the stores fault, just not worth the hassle.
Got Walmart stock? That's the lamest, $10/hr-local-Walmart-manager-type excuse I've seen. I guess it really is buyer beware when we have companies that think like he does.
I totally agree. So many of my misconceptions about parenting have gone out the window. Still I have to put the smackdown on my kid every once in a while when he acts up. Still trying to find that balance.
The most important thing is to be consistent, in my opinion. When my kids were toddlers, and began to "act up" in a public setting, I immediately took them outside, and had a gentle, but firm conversation with them. I don't know just how much they understood, lol, but I did it everytime it occured. Pretty soon, they were behaving amazingly well, and I'd have ladies come over to my table, complimenting me on how well behaved they were. (when I was with one of them by myself) It worked for me. If you wait until they are older, you are behind the eight-ball.
I wonder how in the hell that stuff ended up on the shelves... must be WalMart's fault for EVERYTHING they sell
I like Walmart because its open 24 hrs at most locations. Where the hell else can I go at 3 in the morning to buy a blender or a pair of headphones.
hmmm...cwebbster seems to be curiously absent from this thread... c'mon cwebbster, we need closure, damnit!!
