With small children, waking up much earlier than you would like to has become the norm. On top of that, I travel all the time across time zones, so I'm basically a total wreck due to jet lag. Once met the dude who wrote this book "why we sleep"...I should long be dead by now, based on that book.
Today, I woke up before 5. Have nothing to do that early. Got up, pooped, and worked out. Then I made breakfast. Kids and wife got up around 7 with breakfast ready. Had I laid in bed, I might have fallen asleep for an hour or so, but it was fine. It's really not a big deal to get up early. Your body will take the sleep it needs. I wouldn't worry about it. For real.
Woke up to go pee and now I have that “hunger” stomach ache. I am going to try to go back to sleep but it’s like my body is out of glycogen. Maybe that should be a new thread - Run Out Of Glycogen- Happen to Anyone?
