Coaches poll will be released around 11a-noon ET, AP poll later in the afternoon. A LOT of teams in the top 25 struggled today, with only 5 winning convincingly - Miami, Notre Dame, Florida State, LSU, and Air Force.
First off, the real score shouldv'e been 26-15. and it would've never been in doubt. Thank you Mangum. In fact they only score 3 if the refs(who were honestly terrible) don't hand them phantom pass interference calls that put them way down in our territory. Also, who is more deserving of that ranking then us? OU hasnt been any better, Georgia got its first test tonight, ND will not last all the way, FSU isnt that good, neither are Fla and Tennessee. You could maybe say UGA and OU but that's it.
Always? I supposed you missed the two year old thread that duke brought up to insult the Horns. I supposed you missed the two new additions to his sig (please do not make reference to my sig or other sigs that were created afterwards). I supposed you missed this thread, started by mduke, about "the beauty of hornfans". http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41507 I supposed you missed this thread, started by mduke, entitled "Texas..." http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39286 I supposed you missed this thread, started by mduke, entitled "Ouch", where he turns a small statistical comparison into another flame job... http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41101 These are just a few examples from the offseason. I didn't even think an OU homer would go as far as to say that mduke didn't start any of this stuff.
I guess Michigan never lost to ND. If not for the fantom TD call and passing interference call... OU, UGA Let's see: How about V-tech, who beats LSU and AM by convincing margin? OSU who beats Ttech and Washongton state convincely? Oh, is that only teams in the south count?
I never said the scores didn't happen, but I know what I saw and the touchdowns were giftwrapped. And I apologize for forgetting a couple of teams. Va-Tech I can buy, although A&M is nothing special, Marshall is not that great(in the MAC you don't need a defense) and LSU doesn't have a good quarterback. They will have tough times vs a team that can shut Suggs/Jones down(miami, UT types). OSU in no way shape or form is better. They beat WSU at home, but almost lost to UC without Clarett. They do not have the talent that we do on both sides of the ball. UT is just as worthy as most teams to be in the top 2 or 3 in the country and there is a gap at the top. With Miami, gap, then UT/OU, then Va Tech then a big drop to OSU. Although I don't think UM is as daunting as a lot of people think.
