it think the time to acclimate a new player that simply isn't a catch and shoot individual is not worth it at this point

im willing to bet now that morey is wanting to see what covington/canaan/daniels can bring to the table before making a roster spot open for an FA

so hopefully we can see any one of these three guys get some PT over garcia/casspi

FALSE you have to be brought out by sat.

But you can sign with a team day before playoffs start and still be able to play.

I have no vendetta against our PFs. I'm just being objective. They are going to get t-o-a-s-t-e-d in the playoffs. Jones or DMo, doesn't matter which. Their only saving grace will be they will be playing alongside a defensive anchor (either Dwight or Omer) every second they are on the floor in an undecided game.

With that being the case......you are going to argue with me that Charlie wouldn't be an upgrade? He's the superior floor spreader to any of them dude.

Yeah, he's a slight defensive upgrade. Quit overvaluing the quality of Jones and DMo's defense just because they are Rockets. They are both bad defenders at this stage of their careers against any kind of quality big tandem. Charlie is not a good defender but he does bring a lot more experience to the table.

Yeah, we're gonna face a ton of those in the playoffs. And you know DMo and Jones are so good against them. Have you forgotten how Dirk just completely lit Jones up?

He's never played for a contender. Indifferent? What do you call it when Jones and DMo turn their heads and their man goes to the rim and gets a layup?

Like we would bring him here as a high usage player. LOL

LOL, seriously. Dude, he's a better defensive rebounder than Jones and DMo. Check the numbers.

I didn't say he was a world-beater or "the answer" for us at the 4. I said he was a slight upgrade at this respective stage of each of their careers.

WHAT?!?!?!? ROFL And you think I've gone off the deep end!?!?! Goodness.

So, Jones is a work in progress. Then you go on to accurately describe how crappy his play is. And close with, "he'll figure it out eventually".

Then you talk about the 4/5 rotation and being fine with it. Hey I'm fine with our 5 rotation too. Dwight then Asik. We know that's going to be what goes down in the playoffs. It's only a question of who gets 30 minutes at the PF spot when either Harden or Parsons or Asik or Dwight isn't in there. Currently the choices are Jones, DMo, and Smith. DMo and Smith are essentially centers. They're both interior power bigs. Neither one of them can hit a jumper outside the paint. And they sure can't defend out on the floor. And Jones is basically and undersized 5 with a handle. Jumper just as bad as DMo/Smith but he can stand out there and swing the ball and he can leave his man and help off against teams that aren't aware that he cheats and leaves his man open all the time.

And then you state you want to add Granger....a guy that has shown absolutely nothing this year attempting to come back from injury, and a guy who has a reputation as a weak defender as well. So you're gonna torch me for saying Charlie V is a slight upgrade but you're gonna go ahead and drop Casspi for Granger. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

And all I said was Charlie V would be a slight upgrade. That's all. Just a slight upgrade. LOL

In case Lin has another nightmare playoff like he did last year, I'd like to have more insurance at that position. Wouldn't mind Jimmer at all.

You think Jimmer would be good insurance for JLin possibly sucking in the playoffs?
