Waffles...

I've been looking for the already made waffle mix. Just shake and pour it on the waffle iron. I couldn't find it at walmart.

 

Mmmm... waffle goo.

 

I like mine with just butter and syrup. Sometimes I like mine with butter and apple butter.

 

We have a waffle maker. It's fun to get creative with it but it's a b**** to clean.

On the other hand, I do likes me some Eggo blueberry waffles with peanut butter.

 

Now, I want some WAFFLES!!!!

I haven't had some for a long time.

Waffles for breakfast tomorrow, anyone?

 

It was a pretty straight forward presentation, but they made it really high end. They served it up with a savory mushroom sauce and a berry preserve that were both apparently divine. My wife also said they were the best waffles and the best fried chicken she'd ever had.

I will admit that Waffle House has the worst looking cooks and is quite possibly the nastiest place to eat at.


But I'll be damned if the food is not good.

Nothing like having the munchies at Midnight and going to eat at Waffle House.

the dining halls in the dorms at UCLA had waffle irons and batter and hot blueberry, strawberry and maple syrup ready to go along with whipped cream.


the waffles were the only thing that would ever get me up early to go get breakfast, not class, not study those damn good waffles.


there was always a line to use the waffle irons. man some home-made waffles sound so good right now though.....mmmmmmmmm

 

Wow I went to the wrong UC school..

At Cal we got green bagels, grade D meat, and bizzare turkey concoctions.

 

yeah that sucks man it hurt me big time in school...ucla was known to have some of the best dorm food in the nation i think we're consistently ranked in the top 5..

so many choices

it was either fresh made waffles or fresh made omelettes the way you wanted it cooked down to just sandwiches or what not.

seriously if they charged like 10 bucks for people to come in and eat there (since its a buffet there) I would have no problems paying that to get in to eat.


actually i think i know where i'll go for lunch next week

 

okay this thread has told me to make waffles for breakfast tomorrow.
waffles eggs sausage and hashbrowns.

 

coconut cream into the batter.
fresh whipped cream (dairy) on the waffles.
that's how i like it.

my personal favorite way to enjoy waffles.. is with a scoop of ice cream and of course.. syrup..

 

Butter and maple syrup

Never tried one with fruit on top...but only because I probably only eat a waffle once every few years. Now I am craving one
