I've got 2+ ratio on all the sites I got. Anyone got any invites to sites that are not waffles, what, or stmusic.

 

Can I ask, how exactly do these work? I haven't read the whole thread, but I guess its like a filesharing system?

And what does the ratio points prove? That you are sharing not leeching?

Does it consist of some sort of software or uploading to a server or what?

 

You need a client, I use Azureus. I'm not familiar with any other software for torrents. Once you download something, lets say an album, it automatically starts to seed for you. You don't have to upload anything, just download. And whatever you download, will seed.

 

I use Shareaza for my torrents, how does it recognize that its you on the client (sorry I am not very technologically sound on all this, I just don't want to give a website open access to my computer)

 

Because when you download a torrent, it has a tracker. I have never heard of Shareaza, but it doesn't sound like a good one. They have a list on all these sites that show you which software is allowed and which is banned.
