I couldn't really find the answer anywhere. Can someone please enlighten me about what exactly happened between RA and Wafer?

I don't agree with this... I doubt Wafer's in some kind of doghouse right now... it's really all or nothing for us now with Yao out, we need everyone. Adelman isn't like Phil Jackson, he's a players coach.

I'm a huge Von fan, but the Rockets just didn't need him today. Scoring wasn't an issue, and the most important issue was defense and ball handling. Von just isn't the kind of defender and ball handler that Lowry is despite him having five inches on Kyle.

If this team needed a scoring spark, and was struggling to point the ball in the bucket then you would have seen Von play more minutes.

because ra think wafer is not a good match-up to lakers.
it is playoff, we need to find a good match-up to play each game.
wafer has found his time in 1st round already.

During the 3rd qtr of game 2 Wafer started a shouting match with Adelman during a timeout (it was over his playing time) and kicked a water bottle. Adelman sent him to the locker room. These are the claims from various articles.

In the Bill Simmons podcast Morey added that he followed Wafer to the locker room not long afterwards to speak with him. When Wafer couldn't calm down Morey decided it was best that Wafer should dress and wait on the team bus for the rest of the game.

I don't think Wafer is in any doghouse. The Rockets were rolling with other players so they stuck with it. Wafer came in and did a good job in limited minutes. Nothing to see here.

I actually heard from my mom who was 2 rows behind the Rox bench that Wafer headed back to the locker room early again...perhaps on his own accord. Is this true?

this isnt the first time he gets a few minutes even after scoring well, adelman did it to him before the incident and he'll do after as long as Wafer continues to give up wide open shots.

HE WAS LEAVING HIS MAN WIDE OPEN. How is that not bad?? As bad as ron shot, he doesnt leave his man wide open like that. Ron is also a much better rebounder than Von and PASSES , he had like 7 rebs and 6 asst...

yeah but if you look at him on the bench and during their pre game huddle on the court, he's very animated, cheering big time......so although he gets upset at times i think the staff/players realize he only gets upset because he wants to help so bad, so they just let him be Von. Even if he does things like that they probably dont take it very personal and that's why Adelman was able to just talk to him and then forget the incident

I think Von Wafer has become our new Mike James.

Wafer will be needed in game 5. The Lakers will come out firing like in game 2. The Rockets will need all the offensive weapons they can use to counter the surge. Wafer is one player that can spark the offense.

I believe so...he needed to use the restroom. Gossip--it can lead to bad conclusions.
