Wafer is an athletic player who can drive and shoot. He has alot of holes in his game but he brings what this team is lacking the most to the table. I hope that you weren't assuming that they were anywhere close to the same in terms of talent level. Landry can rebound, shoot (very efficiently), and plays atleast a little defense.

I would say that i would be much more willing to trade Landry because 1) we have Scola and Hayes at his position and 2) he has much higher trade value. Landry could start for a few teams and put up much better numbers than he does here, we would be lucky to net a 2nd round for Wafer. Young athletic wings aren't really that rare, which is why it amazes me how long it took for us to get one.

I thought this thread was a joke, but I see he was serious.

I like you insight. Regarding the athletic wings, we did have players like Snyder, Bonzi before. They just didn't perform well enough to stay with the team.

I started the poll because there are a lot of praise on Von Wafer lately and I would like to see how the majority thinks.

I think most thought I was trying to compare the 2 players in this poll but I really wasn't. Like one poster said, if I want to compare, the poll should be Wafer vs Luther/SF3 or Landry vs Scola. But think about what the team needed most at this point of time. From what I saw in the recent games, Wafer seems to be the best sidekick on the floor when Yao was fronted. I think this is the kind of thing to get into your mind when you have to consider which player is a better keeper for your team.

They don't belong in the same sentence.
Landry just earned his contract after a spectacular season.
Wafer has showed a handful of decent games in very limited time.
    Now you are comparing already.

Wafer is used to spell SG, but last night he shot 1/9. Actually he is not as hot compared to the earlier games. If he can not shoot, his game is over. Remember Kirk Snyder, Mike Harris...?

Even if you are comparing Wafer to Head, I probably will not choose Wafer. Not yet, it is too immature to judge.
