T-Mac's as good as gone. I'd like to see one of those 2 go and I'm not sure which one is more likely. I feel like Taylor is a likely throw-in in any deal.
Judgeing by what happened overseas to him, I don't think so. He should of signed with the Grizzles then signing with what he knows. Cause the grizz needs him more then we need him when Bud comes back.
Bud's injury: Doubt its more serious than projected, we need bodies with 2 more back to backs coming up; and we cant afford to lose too many games if we want to make playoffs (not to mention my friend saw Chase, Battier, and Anderson at Sawyer Park the day of injury, and if he can walk on it w/o crutches, its cant be too bad ) McGrady: I dont think RA wants to double TMAC's mins out of necessity; he has a plan for his mins, regardless of other players' injuries. Trade: I'm thinkin a trade such as TMAC for JO is gonna be there for both teams whenever they decide that's the route they want to go. IMO both teams will hold on to their player in hopes for getting more out of their monstrous expirings (to no avail IMO) til a bit later. So I'd say a trade is still likely, somewhere down the line, but not imminent
Hmm wonder if Von's offense (assuming he's not a one hit wonder) is worth the sacrifice in defense... especially since Yao isn't inside to clog the lane anymore.
I don't think we should trade Ariza. We just got the dude and he's playing pretty good. I would like to see Ariza play his more comfortable role of small forward (when with the Lakers). That leaves a pretty big log jam at SF with Battier, Ariza, and Budinger. Wafer will make a great back-up at shooting guards with his intensity and instant offense. We ship Tmac cause he sucks and Batttier because he still has a lot of value, especially to other teams. I love Battier and his classy demeanor but if we want to improve the team starting with each position, he needs to go so we can sign a LEGIT ALL-STAR SG (aka Wade).
Hopefully Lowry because him and Brooks in at the same time would = the worst defensive back court in the league.
I don't deny that. I really do admire the guy. But I think he has greater value to us Rockets as a trading asset.
VON WAFEEEEEEEEEEER yessir, man im so glad we signed him wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo VONHAWK FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He fits in perfectly this year without Yao
The running and gunning with Wafer is going to be insane. Give him half of Ariza's minutes and we can at least count on getting 40%+ shooting from the SG position for a change.
