I hope so. I would just roll with the young guys. Chase,Trevor, and wafer on the wings. It will also cut into lowry's minutes with the small combo. Part of the reason adelman went small is because they didn't have another slasher/scorer. Now that von is back, that helps that big time.

A trade is going to happen. Wafer actually does not worth a nba contract, even a 10-day contract will be generous to him. Sign him only make sense if a trade is happening.

Wafer > JT... too bad, i was hoping JT would get some PT this year, but it doesn't look like it now. happy with the signing though, Wafer and McCants are very similar as far as their skills are concerned, it'll be interesting how Adelman will use Von.
It does allow Morey to send JT to the D-league and allow him to get more playing time and seasoning. DD
i really hope von comes in with a humbled attitude and a dedication towards defense. the uptempo style of offense the rockets play really fits into his offensive strengths i still prefer chase playing over von i feel chase has a much bigger upside and is the much smarter player too.
I agree with all that, but it does give Rick more offensive weapons, as scoring from Battriza has been a major issue. Brooks and Lowry will love passing to a finisher like Von. DD

Does Wafer sign an unguaranteed contract? I think the rockets still could cut him before Jan. 10th. He needs to playout his teammates in practice to get playing time on the court. Don't take it for grant.
He gives us more offense than Chase, at least scoring the ball, he is more efficient. But, Chase is a better defender, rebounder, passer, and dribbler..... Chase is the better player, but Von is just a blur on the wing and as a scorer is really good. DD
Jennings NEVER got a bad rep for his work out in Euro land. He only got less playing time. BUT they never had a go at his attitude.
