First I have to say after just hearing this by way of a comment from Bill in the game, wow, Adelman and Morey must have had NO faith in Taylor or McGrady being able to play decently enough to contribute in a real game yet, if they did that.

Second, between Salaam being resigned by the Texans, it is just a reunion for Houston teams and people they let go early this year.

The Grizz have been working to get Thabeet ready to play more minutes.

Last night he had an uptick in playing time and showed the tip of the iceberg.

I would say a surprising move, but I know who that "MOREY" guy is. It'll be interesting to see what he can do for us this year.

    Interesting move.

I'm not too fond of what his attitude before leaving the Rockets and when he was in his new team. Let's hope he can keep his head straight in here.

there is no scenario where t-mac will play more minutes then is right for someone coming back from MFS.

It's not just about proving he can fit in and contribute - it's about proving his knee really is ready. That will take months.

Morey is a genius for not jumping the gun and giving him the original contract he and his agent had sought  . Europe humbled him to take what he can get

yeah I said something to someone with repeating constanants about how if he should be happy to get what he gets and move on, instead of him over estimating his value in the league. Cooler heads always prevail

OK but I don't think that means they are even remotely interested in trading Gasol. Maybe they are but I see no indicator and Gasol is really playing at an all-star level. 14.5points 10rebs 1.5blocks and a field goal average of over 60%

If Memphis would trade Gasol I would send them TMac and then some for him.

I really do not see him failing his physical. I would say its basically a done deal.

I'm sure a lot of teams wouldn't have passed over Brandon Jennings if given the chance of a do-over.

I loved his aggressiveness, and he can shoot. However, if he was frustrated about playing time before, it is going to be tough to break in now.

Yeah, Marc looks good. At some point they are going to have to part with him though....because as good as he is, Thabeet's ceiling is higher.

Agreed. We'd start with Tracy and go from there....... have to be a massive 3 or 4 team deal IMO.

You don't just give up All Star caliber post players for nothing unless you are the Grizzlies giving away a player like Gasol... oh wait!!!

It's not going to be any time soon.

Top 10 center production from Gasol....and Thabeet's giving them 3-3 still. A single 8 point game in the month of December isn't going to ship off Marc.
