Do you remember what Wafer brought to this team? WAY more than one highlight dunk.. And I know Wafers defense is suspect.

    But I too rather Harris.

T-Mac blocks yet another roster move by the Rockets. Good going, Tracy. He only played good to prevent Von joining the team. T-Mac hates Houston and doesn't want us to do good. This will not end well.

Von is now out of work, 1.2M poorer after his buyout in Greece and no good prospects in the NBA after failing 2 physicals, no chance in Europe after his falling out in Greece. What's next China? Better call Yao for a reference.

I think this is why we should just focus on the guys who are on the team. Wait until the Rockets announce a signing before getting too excited.

Remember I told you all that Jermaine was going to get some playing time on the court? Looked like he got to the basket well enough last night....

One thing I've noticed is Taylor's speed. I know for a fact Taylor is a high flyer, but I did not know he has great speed to accompany his game as well.

No wonder they/Taylor claimed he resembled Wade's game.

It's ok he sucked and was overrated anyway but mike Harris signing is a waste. He is just going to rot on the bench. Joey Dorsey has someone to keep him company now

I agree... we seem well set at these positions (2,3,4) and we are thinnest at the 1 and 5 positions. One injury to one of the PGs or to Hayes and we are in trouble.

I am all in favor of 100% effort/great attitude guys so I am happy for Harris, but we added a pretty easy position to fill and with our bad luck with injuries we are exposed at the hardest positions to fill.

On one note I feel BAD for Wafer...1.2 million for a buyout and now he is unemployed geezzz however on the flip side good for Mike Harris he has worked hard and deserves a shot.

I assume...Harris is a practice body. He is likely to have a tough time to find any game time.

And BTW didn't JT look like there just might be something there after all?

JT will only get better if we keep playing him, so i am all for signing Harris instead of Wafer i guess.

For those who think that Mike Harris is signing a 10-day contract, you are wrong. Teams cannot start signing player to 10-day contracts until January 5.

However, my guess would be that Harris's deal is non-guaranteed, meaning that the Rockets can waive him before January 10 and avoid having his salary count against the cap/tax. If he's worth keeping, they could always re-sign him to a 10-day contract or two at that point.
