Wafer was really happy it seemed like in those quotes from the article. He said he wanted to cry and loves Houston and the fans. Now it looks like he might not be with the Rockets. Unfortunate turn of events...
Well the article said the Rockets would re-visit the Wafer situation. So I'm guessing once he gets healthy enough to pass the physical he will be signed.
You do realize that if he is signed to 2 ten day contracts....he is on the team for the season....right?
Whats even more astonishing is that if he passed Memphis' physical he would have been a Grizz. Part of my excitation to sign him was also because I thought he had ditched Memphis for us. Apparently not..
well that's a major setback for Von. Sad to hear that he's having physical issues. Glad that Mike will be called up. He has worked hard and deserves it. Hopefully he can play the 3 rather than only the 4.
I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. Maybe I was misleading. I mean sign him to a ten day contract. Then, when that ten day contract is over, we sign him to another ten day contract. After that, if we want to sign harris, it would have to be for the season. But I just realized that 10 day contracts aren't in affect until the beginning of January
ok.. WOW.. this is r****ded.. got me excited the whole day, now before i go to bed.. this DD should be on suicide watch hopefully we sign him when he's healthy again, or stopped doing whatever drug he's doing
man I feel kinda bad for Wafer, it seemed like he really wanted to come back and would've fit in pretty well...maybe he'll get signed again when he does get healthy enough. but Mike has proven what he can bring too, and hopefully he can play well if he gets some minutes.
I've always liked Mike Harris. His heart and hustle is definitely a fit for this team. That said, I kinda wanted to see Wafer back. It would've been interesting to see if he improved any.
