I was wondering also. What's so great about falling down anyway? What is the commercial for again? Stupid campaign all the way around.

I guess. :) But that's odd phrasing. You don't say 'someone bumped into me and knocked my coffee cup out of my hand. So I picked it up a second time.' Or 'I fell down and got up twice.'

Besides being rated better than Kobe by some in the media, exactly how is Wade overrated? Looking forward to anyone's logical explanation.

That is why he is overrated. The stupid national media was/is ranking him as a better player then Tmac and Kobe.

Wade is good. He is an all-star no doubt. But he is no where close to Tmac/Kobe level.

When the Rockets played Miami, one of the TNT guys said Wade was the best player on the Heat last year. CASE CLOSED.

Wow, no love for Wade. Just a bunch of idiots who can't tell the difference between "get up" and "stand".

Here's a suggestion: if you can't remember the commercial's tagline, don't rip on it.

Wade's an amazing player with class, just a consistent jumpshot away from that unstoppable tier. And in his case, that's still a long way away.

its pretty straight forward.....getting up the eigth time simply represents the will of a warrior ready to get back up no matter how many times he falls. kinda like "giving it a 110%" eventhough a 100% is the most one can give.

Which case is closed? Many people, including myself, agree that Wade was the best player on the Heat last year. The way he carried them when Shaq was out or hobbled, playoffs included, proved the point. I think it will be unanimous next summer that Wade is the best player on the Heat this season.

Wade is a superstar elite player. The stats show it. Watching him play shows it. He has two main flaws that put him behind Tracy and Kobe: TOs and lack of a 3pt shot. He's already a better passer than Kobe. Considering this is just his 3rd year and that he will probably continue to get better, the Heat are fortunate to have him. He's more than just a nice player.

he's getting knocked down. it shows the competitive drive to keep taking it in b/c it's best for the team knowing you're probably going to get pummeled.

i don't see why people have a problem with the phrasing. like someone else said, it's just like saying "give 110%."

    uhh, no.

in my mind, as someone who really likes both kobe and tmac, i think wade is quite close to their level. he is very tough, very athletic, takes and makes lots of big shots, makes shots while taking contact even better than kobe (who is great at it), integrates being the man but getting the tean involved very well, rebounds well, and defends. he's very good. i would put the other 2 ahead of him, but it's not a blowout or anything.

and i don't see any problem thinking wade was the best player on the heat last year. he did more of the heavy lifting than shaq. he took the games over and scored during the games, and ran the offense and such. shaq just became more and more of a dunker (notice the big increase in fg%) who took even more of the game off than before (career low in scoring and 2nd lowest rebounds i believe). they pretty much won the first two rounds of the playoffs w/o shaq.

I like the commercial alot because it is simple and makes a point...I love T-Mac but that commercial he has out is crap, with all those special effects and stuff. It gets annoying after the first time you watch it. The same thing goes for his other one where he had jets and stuff trying to stop him. Keep it simple.

D Wade is already one of the best guards in the league. Quit hating on the dude. He carried the team before the Diesel got there and he carried them last year with the Diesel in the playoffs. I'll take Wade over Carmelo anyday, but Lebron is another story, the guy is unreal! Hell I'd take Wade over Kobe as well.

He falls down 7 times, then gets up 7 times..then gets up again when he dunks over someone.

Ever hear of "he has serious "ups"?

I wouldnt want to buy a shoe that makes you fall down all the time. That is a shoe commercial right?

Buy these shoes and you will always be picking yourself off the floor.
