While you are at it, compare it to the numbers of the supporting casts, especially Yao down the stretch. Relativity is beautiful isn't it.
MMMMMMMMMMmkay. That was how many years ago? And who all has come and gone since then? The guy laughing at Houston the most right now is Weisbrod... Where was Orlando last June?
Hey, you're the one who asked when the Rockets have done that. I answered. You should have given a timetable then.
My point is that its easy for outsiders to comment because they don't understand the situation, at least anymore than what they've heard from T-Mac. Also, do you really believe that NBA players never beef about front office moves? So Kobe Bryant didn't publicly question why the Lakers didn't offer up Bynum to land Jason Kidd? Fancis and Mobley didn't go to the paper before the draft to suggest that instead of drafting Yao the pick should be packaged for Lamar Odom? And no player/s who have ever complained publicly about a contract situation? Yet in this age of Twitter and Youtube haven't heard a single Rocket on or off the record come to McGrady's defense. Why? Because they don't want to play with him.
Yeah you're reading a lil much into too that, Because when he came back lowry defintiely twittered that, and carl landry and others said they were glad to see him back. So they must've wanted him to stay
The thing with that is all of our players are professional enough to NOT come out against the team. But the main thing with McGrady that everyone seems to be missing, is that if the Rockets gave him time to "get back up to speed," they would only be hurting themselves. McGrady played defense comparable to (and weaker given he is usually coming in for Battier and on a guard or forward) late career rookie David Andersen. During the minutes he was given, had he really been up to snuff, defensively, I have no doubt, Adelman would have worked in more minutes for him but McGrady couldn't defend NBA starters and EVERY team knew that by the third game he played. Frankly, D. Wade is being nice to McGrady but as a management stand point, you want to win games, helping McGrady get back into his rhythm wouldn't have done that. Maybe right now, McGrady is ready to play, but back in December, Adelman would have done so if he was. He and Morey just decided to take their own method which it seems McGrady wasn't down with thus the seperation.
All I can see at the moment is whatever we get from trading Tracy Mcgrady for the rest of the season is going to be trash and wont help our playoff push like T-mac WOULD. That is the one and only reason, we aren't going to get anything decent at this point in time as far as I can see and its not going to help us in our at all in our PLAYOFF PUSH as management has mentioned to the fans multiple times. I'm just sick of this double standards are we doing development or are we doing a playoff push
