If there is an insurance company that is paying 80% of a relatively healthy (certainly game ready) TMac's contract, then the Rockets organization needs to be in prison for robbing them blind of millions of dollars.

I thought it was common knowledge that just because TMac missed 41 straight games, it only means that we get the 80% coverage for each game after that IF THE PLAYER IS LEGITIMATELY INJURED. TMac is obviously ready to go. The Rockets simply decided to part ways with him prematurely.

So either provide a link that shows TMac's contract is getting covered, or stop spreading bogus comments like that. And no, I can't provide a link for my statement, but mine follows the guidelines of COMMON SENSE.

This must be a sign that Wade is coming to Houston...

Brilliant behind the scenes work by Morey to get Wade to bait another team into offering up more for The Lazy One.

Just because someone refers to this year as a "developmental year," it doesn't mean we're necessarily developing young talent and young talent only.

We're developing our core that will be playing next year. This most likely includes Scola and Battier, even though they are older.

We're developing chemistry between the 8 or so people that will be playing alongside Yao next year.

We're NOT strictly developing youngsters like Taylor and Bud because they won't be playing as many minutes as our veterans next season.

That's not an objective appraisal of what T-Mac might be able to do. It's someone wanting to see a friend get the chance to prove himself. Good for D-Wade, but it's got nothing to do with reality.

Nowhere does he say, "I've seen T-Mac play recently and he's still got the ability to play at a high level in the NBA." It's all just wishful thinking until McGrady himself proves otherwise -- if he can.

I am so sick of these TOF and YOF.... When the team was actually playing and winnning as a team you didn't hear a peak out of them....

As soon as as the team started to struggle they both started to come out of the freakin wood works...

Please. I agree, the rockets have handled this situations very inappropriately, but miss me with that bs noone is going to wan to play here. Houston aint some quiet, boring, no-personality city like Sacramento or Utah.

As long as Les is willing to shell out money, players will come here.

    Trickle down effect.

Thats now two prominent NBA personalities who recogonize what the organization did to McGrady. We can only pray it stops here and doesnt spread further.

And for those who would say right or wrong he deserved it, it doesnt matter. Players talk to each other, especially the high profile ones. Tracy is going to run around and tell all his little clique about how the Rockets forced him to play injured and then ran him out of town. This could have disasterous consequences.

I agree. It could be disastrous for any team that takes a chance on McGrady next season.

He is the cancer of cancers.

F i so sick of tired of hearing people using the "messing up our style of playing, or disrupting our chemistry" excuse to justify what this organization did... well can you tell me what "style" we have that is so precious and so fagile to one player being in the rotation.. i means seriously, is Ariza doing r****ded crap on offence the style we have, or having a undersized PG as a go to player the supposed style we have..

and to answer your question about Tmac not helping our plans, how does him not playing helping us win games long term or short term. all we are doing right now is lowering his trade value, distracting the team with this drama, building a shiitty reputation, and most importantly not helping the team win games..

and dont label me anything, because im not a so called TOF. I just think doing what we did to a more than capable player is not helping this organization is any way or form

I think the talking done by players currently on the team and who had to live through the T-Mac debacle will more than offset the negative talk from people on the outside, at least judging from some of the oblique references made to the media.
