Well, technically, the team recieving T-Mac can waive the physical and still put him on the roster (see Mobley, Cuttino and the NYK). It's not impossible to imagine another team trading for Tracy hoping he makes a comeback with them, otherwise now they are the team with the huge expiring contract coming off their books this year.
It takes two to tango. The Rockets aren't entirely at fault here. Tracy started this mess. The Rockets are finishing it, and will have the last laugh when said and done. What goes around comes around.
This pisses me off man! I say either TRADE HIM NOW or PLAY HIM! I know its to late for that, why the heck would he wanna play for us now? Right?
Athletes don't know how to evaluate talent. Wade is just paying tribute to a veteran, I don't get how people use these quotes as "evidence" to support their case.
Once he wins a championship? I could gurantee you that if Heat got T-Mac for a low price, they could win it all. All Wade needs is some body else that can take over when he is on the bench. Will McGrady fit that roll? Doubt it. But you never know....

The only way Les will play T-Mac is if Clutch Fans came up with 80% of T-Macs salary for every game left in the season. Cheap skate.
He still has the ability to be a solid NBA player (15,5,5), but can he step up, work hard and continue to be a 20,5,5 player, we'll see.
Well then lets go all out and do it then. Why are we playing Shane at all? Is he our rebuilding SF of the future? Why not just sit Scola and let Landry progress. Scola is going to get a raise and are the Rox going to pay Scola what he is worth and still sit Landry behind him? Seriously it has nothing at all about "the Future" or "letting players progress" Do we really STILL think Ariza is going to become any more than he is? Is he doing something better than TMac could? I understand there are alot of TMac bashers but you are dumb and blind if you didn't see how much better he made his teammates. How he could break down a defense and how adept he was at making the right decision with the pass. Why are we so afraid to call a duck a duck. Its obvious that Tmac was injured at the beginning of the season. Is it soooo out of the realm to believe he continued to try and play because the organization was pressuring him? Having Yao, Artest and him with Brooks, Landry and Scola? I read the articles bashing him when he took time off. Newsflash he wasn't right. So his reward for trying to put the season together was to be dealt to the Nets? Quite honestly thank god he did. Unless you wanted Vince Carters albatross of a contract and declining skills for the next few years. Yao is a great player/person on our team. He puts in the work, but Yao is NO different when you establish his playoff record and injury prone self. How can you not compare the two in these area's. Ive watched alot of Rockets basketball over the last 30 years or so, and the poster who claimed TMac was our best playoff competitor over the years not named Hakeem is exactly right (going back to the 90's). He put it all on the line, busted his ass and 1. We should of beat that Mavs team that the Refs cheated us out of. 2. took a far superior Jazz team to 7 games basically on his own with a bit of help from Yao. 3. Got beat again by a superior Jazz team with our starting PG out half that series and no Yao. Really...you guys watched Tmac lay it on the line those playoff series and think he could of done more? Its simple. TMac was about to be played by the organization and be delt to the Nets, he (maybe wrong) found his way of preventing that, and now we as an organization decide that we will go the route of demolishing his career over it. Get over it. You as a fan can not possibly know better than Barkley, Wade, or Tim Grover. There is a reason they are speaking out. If Tmac isn't dealt by the trading deadline then you either buy him out reasonably or play the guy. NO ONE on this planet can think he will be worse off than allowing Ariza to do what he's doing on the court.
Right. If we don't trade him fine, we have a nice contract expiring. But if we don't trade him, he won't play for us either. We get no help and with our current struggles we need all the help we can get. Very bad mis-management by the Rockets org on this one
